I will be using this platform as a Tell All to my dating experiences in the big New York City over the past two years. That’s right, the good, the bad and the ugly from getting stood up to last minute trips to Colorado with strangers. It all started with me, the city and most likely, a dating app.
Lets start with the basics. How do you start dating in New York City? You could go out to a bar and wait for someone to start talking to you but you are more likely to go out with friends and that makes you less approachable for those potential suiters. Going to a bar by yourself is weird. What if no one talks to you? then you’re hanging out by yourself…looking like a sad lonely girl…
You hear all of these people meeting their significant others online on apps like Tinder, Bumble, Grindr so you think you should give it a try.
You download the apps, fill out your profiles (basically all the same) and start swiping. It’s easy and it’s fun, seeing all the elidgable bachelors around you. You know how it goes.
