I think I heard the story about your friend, I can’t remember his name but I think I heard dad talking about him once or twice. At this point, I don’t even think dad wants any of us to be “proper teenagers” and have rebellious phases. Or maybe just not me.”
"I actually meant to quote the movie Closer but I do love that song so I’ll take it. What do you think I listen to? Music has no age -- unless it’s a manufactured boy band targeted at young girls, then it does. Finn. That was his name. He was my first boyfriend. Well, your father only acts the way he does because he went all out when we were young so he knows what kind of trouble you guys could get yourselves into.”

"You should work on that, sweetie. You know they say lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off. We all have our demons to deal with. But, not so fast, my rebellious phase lasted a couple weeks while your father was a rebel until we graduated, and even after. He only matured when our friend died.”

“I wasn’t judging, I swear! I just didn’t know that you smoked. I’m sorry.”
God, child. Relax. I’m not gonna ground you for staring. I don’t smoke. Well, not anymore. But fake cigarettes don’t look real enough on screen and I’m willing to do anything for my art. It’s called being a good actress.”

Yes, you have heard it correctly. Julian St. James ★ has just made his debut on Tumblr. In case you somehow aren’t familiar with my name then perhaps you haven’t been fortunate enough to be dazzled by my talent.
Fellow students of St. Jude’s might have seen me wandering down the hallways, or more likely, seen me in the choir room or auditorium preparing for my rightfully earned solo’s. You may also be familiar with my less talented siblings, though I’m not quite sure why you would be.
Chances are high that I’m not interested in the slightest in listening to whatever you have to tell me. Yet I would not want to take away the oppertunity from you lesser individuals to at least give it an attempt to impress me and prove me otherwise. I suppose that would fulfill my good deed for the day
... Well, at least there’s no denying you’re your mother’s son.
