i hate to do this but i have no other means to get the money because i just started a new job and i won’t get paid for another two weeks and i can’t wait 2 more weeks to take my dog to the vet but. if you guys have known me long enough you know i have an insanely immunocompromised dog named bruce wayne, who is genuinely the love of my life and the dog i would consider my, ‘soul dog.’ he’s had just about everything and i’ve run myself ragged constantly taking him to the vet for things such as parvo, a bacterial infection, pneumonia, you name it and i will continue to take him at any cost but it’s become clear to me, as someone who is a vet tech and has seen it so many times, that he has MRSA, which is transmittable to humans too and as someone who is immunocompromised myself and has 9 other pets i need to have him diagnosed and treated as soon as possible.

i can pay for the treatment myself by applying for care credit at my local animal hospital because they offer it as a payment method AFTER treatment has been done and the pet is ready to go home which i’m prepared to owe the inevitable thousands of dollars for his care but i need to pay $300 up front to get him seen and diagnosed by an actual veterinarian.

which is why i wanted to make this post, to offer graphics in exchange for any amount of money, whether it be $1 or $100, i’ll make you anything. i would offer art but i take way too long and the anxiety of having people waiting on me genuinely kills me.

i don’t have many icon border examples because i tend to delete things off my pc after i’ve given them to the commissioner ( it’s an OCD thing ) but i do have these:

((Expanding on this some more: there are multiple people in the Yiga Clan who dedicate themselves to the art of tattooing, but one of Sai's closest friends is the most well known and oldest artist in the clan, who is usually tasked with teaching newer artists. Back in the day they both actually did an apprenticeship together under his predecessor (who passed away a few years ago) but Sai ended up dropping out from a lack of interest. That being said that also means Sai has a few "experimental" or kind of silly tattoos just because he agreed to be a canvas for when his friend wanted to try something new or practice. In exchange the artist also has one or two on him that are not-that-great-looking because Sai practiced on him.

Anyway the poor guy has had to put his craft on hold though since the Depths operations kicked into high gear :/

So I'm a firm believer in the HC that the average Yiga usually has a few tattoos under their uniforms (shoutout to @battyccino for introducing me to the concept it makes SO much sense), and I wanted to expand on that w my own HC:

Basically, much like the ancient Sheikah they descended from, the constellations have meaning to the Yiga Clan.

This is usually expressed through one of the more popular choices of tattoo among Yiga being that of whichever constellation they were born under, something that is seen as somewhat of a good luck charm. It's also not uncommon for Yiga to put the constellations of loved ones (such as family, partners, close friends, etc and/or Master Kohga, who is represented by the Ursa Major constellation) next to their own constellation. This is to symbolically say that their fates are intertwined.

Right, so this bad boy has been in my drafts for a LONG, LONG time. I originally wanted to try making them myself but...composing really isn't my thing, turns out. So, over the year I've managed to get a few songs I think fit the trio, and I think I'll throw them down now.

Note: this is a BIG "youre gonna have to use your imagination here" post, all examples provided are not 1:1 in the slightest and are only meant to convey VIBES or concepts, ultimately, the Yiga use some pretty specific instruments (shamisen, taiko drums, kakegoe, etc) and their theme would ideally be using those too, but like, yeah. As I said: these are vibes, use your imagination.

This...kind of ended up as me describing the fights with them too, more than anything. So strap in, this is gonna be a long one:

Tali:

So, I have two ideas for her, a "regular" fight and a "final" fight version. Two different songs, but I think they capture the same idea for a fight with her, and that would be HIGH ENERGY FUN!! Originally I wanted Tali's "instrument motif" that would make her stand out to be vocals, as a reference to her singing talents, but lately, I've become very partial to a synth sound, the high-pitched chiptune sort of thing, you get what I mean? Just all around a "playful" and fun sound to it.

So this is the general sound for her "regular fight" theme:

There's a bit of a "unfinished" vibe to the start, someone who is just beginning, but it picks up speed and sounds like an adventure in it's own right, with little bips and boops all around which sound almost like projectiles to me! The ending is really fast, almost overwhelming, and I think that reflects her personality well. She's upbeat, she's a massive burst of energy, she's all around you and causing trouble! But her final fight? THIS is what I'm imagining:

I think the thing is, even by the point where she's at the "final fight" stage, Tali would know she's got no chance of beating Link in a head-on fight. In terms of tanking hits, she's just no match for him.

That is to say: she'd know her strengths and weaknesses, so she embraces her role as a glass cannon, making her even more dangerous.

The fight would be CHAOTIC and EXPLOSIVE; Tali knows if Link hits her, she's gonna go down fast, but if he wants to land a hit, he'll have to catch her first! Double elemental arrows and bomb arrows rain down on the field, combos of fire and ice, explosions and electricity, and one keyed-up Yiga teleporting from place to place, staying out of range and causing you a headache at best, and grievous injuries at worse!

I can see the fight opening with her introduction, dialogue, and then the percussion hits at 00:41, which is where Tali teleports around Link so fast she's practically flashstepping, shooting rounds of explosive arrows from multiple angles that the player has to either dodge or block, something like this:

Then the beat drops, and the fight BEGINS!

Sai: Sai's getting a regular fight and a final fight sound too. So here's the regular fight:

Gets your heart pumping, doesn't it? Sai's maybe not as good at teleporting as Tali or Poni, but he makes up for it by being an utter speedster. He's definitely the most "traditional Yiga" in terms of fighting, at least at the start with his eightfold blade. I think he's also, slightly convinced he belongs in a heist movie. So I think this is a good blend of his vibes and "Oh shit, THIS GUY IS A YIGA AND NOW I GOTTA FIGHT HIM!"

Sai's final fight would probably sound basically like this:

When I think "Sai", one of the main sounds I think of is flute. Lots of it. That's his instrument, so of course there's gonna be a lot of it for him. I think if he's put in a position where it's his final fight, he's going to want you/Link to walk in thinking he has all the power here (because he too, knows he's not a tank). He'd thrive less on chaos and explosions everywhere, and more on fear, paranoia, confusion, and unpreparedness. Preferably, he'd put you somewhere in the dark, where he's striking from the shadows. He can see you better than you can see him, after all! He'll announce his presence, he'll be high above, taunting with a chilling tone. What should come across is clear: you aren't the one in control here, he has the upper hand—you are his prey, and before he kills you, he's gonna make you suffer by playing with you like a cat with a mouse. His attacks would start slightly slow, you think you know what you're getting into, this'll be a cakewalk, he's just too calm...and then he picks up speed, twin sickles dashing at you and hitting from every direction, and suddenly you realize the danger you're in and how difficult this fight is going to be. And just when you think you've figure it out, it turns out he's been hiding a few tricks (and gadgets) up his sleeves...

Poni:

Poni is...a bit of an odd case. He'd definitely have a footsoldier theme, then a blademaster theme, then a final fight...and yet, I can only provide the final, and this, which I'd say is like...his theme, just as a person:

It's not just heroic or regal or noble, but what I love about it, what I feel is "him", is that it sounds industrious. It's not just mighty, but it's building something, with sweeter and softer parts to it too, they swell with heart, turn to playful yet still diligent, curious almost, before turning back to the sound at the beginning, but more powerful and intense, reaching something grand at its peak. And I like that sound for him:) I also think his "unique" instruments would be heavy percussion and brass, as well as the two-tone block, which if I am remembering correctly, both sounds like clip-clops AND is used in Master Kohga's theme! At the same time, I think what he gains in his promotion would be heavier kakegoe and shamisen usage, support from others but a belief in himself he can hear.

Oh, and electric guitar, but not Sai's chill heist sound, but the kind that makes you realize you are going to die and feels like a punch in the face. The main thought process I would want a player to have when the fight with him starts is "OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT, WHAT DID I JUST GET MYSELF IN TO?" And this? This sounds like that (at least until 03:00):

I think fighting Poni (especially in his final fight) would be like you suddenly switched to a boss fight from the game above(my first though goes to Tiger Vanguard). A fast-moving enemy that hits you like a truck and kills you again, and again, and again. Poni doesn't need tricks, he doesn't need to hide behind gimmicks. He's carrying two different forms of weaponry (meaning two fighting styles), knows powerful magic, and is mixing in martial arts so that if the first two don't get you, he'll just pummel you into the ground or kick your chest in. But one thing is clear: he is not scared of you, and he knows the full extent of how dangerous he is. The feeling is that you aren't leaving alive, and he has the power to make that happen. The strategy I would recommend employing is: LEARN HOW TO PERFECTLY DODGE DODGE DODGE and try to get as many hits in until a plot device occurs and he decides to retreat (and Link is Hylia's Specialist Little Boy, so of course it will), because otherwise, he isn't giving up until you are dead.

Oh, and did I mention that as long as Sai and Poni are around, all three of these guys are effectively in master mode and slowly regain health during the fight because 2/3 of their team can heal? Good luck, have fun, and glory to Master Kohga!

UPDATE: finally found something I could feel comfortable in saying might be a solid first fight theme for Poni, and ironically enough it was. also on the PJO soundtrack. just in the second season. What's even more ironic however is that it's literally the track used for a chariot race. Horses truly never have let Poni down. Specifically starting at 02:20 here in the video, in case the link doesn't work properly....

Anyway, it's got all the bells and whistles of the main theme from before, but with a frantic air to it that I think fits not just what I'd imagine would be the vibe of fighting him would be like(Blademaster or not, he's still a real threat and a difficult fight), but his vibe around then as well, he's just not as secure before he gets promoted, and I feel that works with how this has a lot of intensity but it's nowhere near as steady and assured in the way "Flames Have Paved My Way" sounds.

Bonus: throwing this down for Sai, specifically as a "well, if I had to pick a AOC-type theme where it's a little more heroic and good-sounding and whatever".

Shoutout to @infernalpursuit for making me aware of this song and hitting the nail so closely on the head with choosing it for Sai. Really conveys his hearty and fun-loving side...while still keeping the impression that he really thinks he belongs in a cool heist movie.

"Her name-- uh," Link's hands falter, and he scratches the back of his neck awkwardly, "I haven't had time to name her. I'm not good at naming things."

Not entirely a lie. They have to admit, "Red" isn't the most creative name for his crimson loftwing. "Epona" wasn't even his idea. They've been pondering names this morning, but none of them quite seemed to stick.

Meanwhile, the milcery is very conflicted about the atmosphere of the moment. She could tell the human (...? he might be the same as her new trainer - their scents are similar) in front of her meant well, but. Only towards her specifically. And her trainer reeks of stress and adrenaline. She floats a little closer to Link, after a small smile to the human that greeted her.

"I see." Definitely-not-Poni watches the strange creature retreat, a little disappointed, but also intrigued. He takes note of her facial expression—a threat display? She had no teeth, but paired with the retreat....she might already be too far gone.

He glances upwards at Link, unintentionally giving him a look that could kill. He thinks Link is getting suspicious, but isn't quite sure what to do to put him more at ease beyond lean in to his genuine curiosity.

"Are you at the very least aware of...what breed of pokémon she is?" he can feel the gazes of his teammate's piercing his back, and raises his hands in a calming gesture as he heavily hoists himself back up to both his feet. In this disguise, he is still taller than Link by quite a few inches, but nowhere close to towering over him as his true Blademaster form does.

"I apologize for my ignorance," Poni wasn't actually that sorry, or even cared that much what he thought about him. Link was one of the few people Poni knew whose forgiviness meant nothing and his opinion on him was more worthless than a rotten banana peel.

"we simply are not from this...area." Lying really wasn't his strong suit...unless it was by omission, leaning on half truths and such.

"...So certain pokémon are...quite new, to us."

He feels the tug of an incredibly powerful urge to look behind him to see what Sai and Tali are doing, if they have any instructions, but resists it.

Much to his benefit, Tali and Sai nod to confirm his words, both relieved to see him lean in to his strengths when it came to deceit and happy to encourage his more credible-sounding lies.

"Doesn't stop us from wanting to help the locals in need, though!" Definitely-not-Tali cheerily adds on, grinning at Link like she was just a pure, do-gooding soul like him.

Sai regards the very jumpy Yiga, who had been sneaking about the base like he was after some bananas somebody dropped before somebody else could snag them.

Wow, they weren't kidding, this new recruit here was...something else. With his blindingly, not-up-to-code, blond hair.

Ah well, not his problem.

"What's got you jumpy, newbie?" Sai swiftly closes the distance between them, and lowers his voice. "Y'see something interesting?" Well if he did, Sai wanted in.
