My outlast trials reagent oc Basenji ! AKA The Pervert .

A glutton for punishment, Basenji runs into trials with the goal to please his masochistic side— whether it be physically or mentally, either or both will be a great boost. Making the ex-pops work for it. If the outcome is not satisfactory he becomes incredibly agitated and his overly friendly personality takes a drastic turn to violence. After said outbursts, his sadistic nature is satiated
It was mandatory for him to wear at least underwear for the scientists’ visual sake. Though not the standard briefs male reagents wear but of the female counterpart.
Eyesight is very photosensitive. Would rather keep his visors down to keep them hidden. Will be shown squinting with the iris jittering, being unable to keep steady if they are not equipped.
Black cloth mask with a skull print is loosely fitted around the head. Will reveal partial of his face at certain angles. A tooth has been knocked out with a few crooked around it from the impact.
Hair is blonde with a short buzzcut. It’s beginning to thin out. Eyebrows are not bushy and is unable to grow thick amounts of hair anywhere on the body.
Hormone therapy and replacements, such as testosterone blockers have had an affect to his body such as genital atrophy, erectile dysphunction, irregular hair growth. Has yet to kill off his libido.
Runs with an X-ray rig and lock pick master, hinting at a very voyeuristic side being realised through the cutting edge technology and skill set.
This took so long to draw. It was my first time experimenting with halftones (CMYK) as well as my first time drawing Leland. He’s so stupid and stinky.
I was also experimenting with a different art style. I wanted a more old comic book type of feel. I feel like the old comic book style fits Outlast trials so much.
PLEASEEE lmk if you like this art style. I’m not sure if people might prefer my old art style vs this one.
