So, if we’re going to force white people into slavery some time in the future, is there a point where we decide who lives as one and who dies?
Cause, you know, I have a few white people in mind that I think would make great slaves for me, personally. So, I just wanted to know when we had to call dibs on them. If someone could let me know when the deadline is for that, that’d be great.

Wtf is this? What did you pieces of shit porn blogs do to my post? I’m way too weirded out to be mad, yo.
So this is something that needs to be said, people are calling out the new wir movie and saying Tiana is whitewashed because someone lightened/edited the lazy Tiana image just so they could say “WHITE WASHINGGGG” and it’s honestly the most pathetic way to get attention I’ve ever seen, if people are so against racism they wouldn’t try to start it. Tiana isn’t white washed and that’s a fact but even if she was disney can do whatever they want with their own characters, why do black people feel like they OWN Tiana? it’s honestly the most fucked up thing. I understand representing different races and all but this is getting really out of hand, she belongs to Disney. Tiana would STILL be black even with lighter skin
I wondered why she only looked this light in ONE scene.
Oh yeah Warner Bros does have some racist cartoon that put Peter Pan Indians to shame.(through they was much worse in the book) I wonder why no one get on WB for that Japanese bugs bunny short?
I just wish I could’ve found the entirety of ‘Coal Black and the Sebben Dwarves’ cause the hitmen have this car that says they’ll kill ‘Japs’ for free.
Since we're getting Space Jam 2 now, do you think we're going to get people accusing it of being anti-muslim or racist or something?
You ask me this fucking question because you know good and well what the answer is.
It isn’t Disney so…….
no.
As a matter of fact we might get people claiming it’s ‘woke’ and ‘progessive’ or whatever tf the kids are saying these days because the Monstars are ‘coded black’ or some fuckin’ shit.
The single only thing they might complain about is Lola if they decide to make her sexy again. But they gave her an actually personality in the new Looney Tunes show. So, if they decide to keep that, they’re basically golden.
The Monstars are totes black, tho.
..... Yeah, I’m just gonna leave these here.
Really wish Michael Jordan was trending on Twitter for donating 2M dollars for hurricane relief in North Carolina but instead it’s Space Jam 2. I mean, I excited for the movie but I feel like Michael’s contribution deserves more attention.

the main complaint i saw is that the type of texture disney picked for her hair is wrong. my hair looks like that immediately after i wash it and let it air dry before adding products, but no one is sure what the point of reference was for tiana's hair in that scene because no natural black hair style looks like that if it's meant to depict her with her hair down and styled. if they had defined her curls more instead of the frizzy ones there probably wouldn't have been an issue.
That is very, very strange. But interesting.
See, your hair and mine are the same way. Only I add mousse to help maintain my curls while it’s still wet. Then I brush it out and let it air dry and -boom- Tiana and I are twins. lol
So, they want afro texturized hair? Ok, I guess I kinda see their point but, ultimately I still think it’s a non-issue. So, basically, it’s the same old story. People getting outraged and offended because they refuse to be satisfied no matter what.
The Internet don't realize that curly hair is more or less difficult to do in 2d but easier cgi. Hence why we can now see Tiana with her hair down more and black animated characters have more curly hair.
One of the many wonders of CGI.
What I don’t understand is why people took issue with Tiana having curly hair. It seems to completely clash with what everyone on this site seems to want; better representation and celebration of black features such as curly hair.
Is it because it makes her look different from having her hair tied back? What’s the matter with that? I don’t get it.
Friendly reminder that genuinely good people don’t feel the need to constantly state and restate what good people they are.
Hello, black woman here.
It’s one of those rare moments where I have to say “well done, internet” un-ironically. Because you actually meant to get something done. And well done Disney for listening and changing something. That’ll fly in the face of people who say Disney never listens. I’m glad you got Disney to adjust Tiana’s skin color to look more consistent.
Now, that said, can someone please explain to me what the issue was with her hair? I got super excited when I saw how it looked when she wore it out. Her hair looked exactly like mine when I leave it curly. I actually really liked it....
I just really miss the kindergarten days when they taught us to love and respect each other despite our differences. Nowadays it feel like there’s a constant cold race war going on.
Is there a point to trying to teach our kids love and compassion even though we know that at least some of them are going to grow up chanting “kill all whites/blacks/gays/etc.”?
(I’m black/puerto rican.)
So, let me see if I have this right.
People started saying that Tiana’s portrayal in WiR2 is wrong because she’s wearing shoes on a bed. She would never do that because her mother is black and all black parents beat their children for wearing shoes on a bed.
Are we sure that we’re trying to fight to end harmful black stereotypes, here?
To the people in my inbox asking me to kick peoples asses about the princess discourse over Wreck it Ralph 2, I’m sorry my lovelies but I’m still currently on vacation.
Also, I’ve decided to go on indefinite hiatus. I just don’t feel good about diving head first into a cesspool of negativity about something I’m genuinely looking forward too. This site sucks the fun out of everything. I have to save some of it for myself. Fandoms used to be fun way back when. I’d like to return to enjoying things.
Honestly, I can’t find a fuck to give about how ‘problematic’ a video game/internet movie is. I just want to feel more positive emotions. I hope none of you think I’m a pussy for it.
