I recently read “To Dragons and Back Again” by Hansee on ao3 and I really enjoyed it so I’ve been playing around with a few ideas about a fic inspired by it
I think what I wanted to see was a bit more drama so instead of Todoroki and Bakugou being sent to another world and Bakugou realizing his feelings for Kirishima by seeing his alternate self’s relationship with alternate!Kiri, I was thinking more::
-Husbands, Midoriya and Bakugou, get sent to an alternate fantasy universe where alt!Bakugou is with alt!Kirishima and alt!Midoriya is with alt!Todoroki
-the two have to lay low so that they aren’t attacked as infiltrating shapeshifters and are forced to pretend to be the lovers of their alternate friends while still hiding about being lovers to each other
-this is progressively more difficult bc alt!Bakugou and alt!Midoriya are not in good terms but the other Bakugou and Midoriya have not only gotten over their differences but are married so it’s a little hard to pretend to not be in love with your spouse while also pretending to be in love with your friends
-both Bakugou and Midoriya also have trouble trying to get around not being affectionate to Kirishima and Todoroki, not only because they’re their friends, but because they don’t want to be unfaithful to each other
I haven’t hammered out a lot of details, mostly about whether either Bakugou or Midoriya had a fling with their alternate lovers in their original world, making it even more difficult, but also if I should have either (or both) actually end up with their alt lovers
