Acceptance of Love / Self Love Witch Jar
I was set a challenge by my therapist to create a jar of compliments that I couldnāt accept. I suffer severely from anxiety and depression and often reject or ignore compliments due to a low self esteem and low self worth. The idea was to create a jar of nice things people have said to me and look at them whenever I feel down on myself which will slowly teach me to accept the compliments I am given. I decided to witchify this and create a jar that is magically charged.
Here in my messy bunch of supplies are a jar, markers, magazine images, leftover Christmas ribbons and small papers with compliments on them that I have received.
I started off by labelling my jar it says :
āJar of nice thingsā
ā(Because I need to learn self esteemā
I then selected some magazine images that represent what I am trying to achieve by creating this jar.
I used :
Daffodils for rebirth : I am trying to alter my way of thinking , giving birth to a more positive outlook
Butterflies : Which means a similar thing to the daffodils. I thought they would work well with the jar as they go from being ugly and in a state of hiding , to becoming a beautiful creature.
The words ājust as strange I amā: because just as strange as I am I guess I deserve love too and these things were said to me despite my strangeness or the things I see in mysef as being negative.
And the words ālove yourselfā: because although this is a jar of compliments, itās teaching me to be accepting of the fact that there are things about myself that are good or worthy of love.
Finally I added gold ribbon for joy and happiness and red for love.
After Iād completed the jar I got to work in creating a sigil for self love and communication and got to this :
The mercury sign is for communication, we are opening up the channels of communication between ourselves and others in order to hear the positive things they are saying
The heart in place of the circle in mercury is for love
The earth sign at the base is for grounding because we are not trying to inflate the ego just to become more accepting of ourselves ā¤ļø
I charged the sigil by burning and finished the jar by adding my witchy dignitaries at the base.
If anyone decided to make a jar please tag me Iād love to see other peopleās jars and what images they have attached to them !
Blessed be and happy new year āØ

The seven heavens...
InĀ religiousĀ orĀ mythological cosmology, theĀ seven heavensĀ refer to seven levels or divisions ofĀ Heaven.
The ancients believed that there were Seven Heavens which related to the seven observable planets in our solar system. The Sun and Moon, where referred to as planets by the ancients due to lack astronomical understanding and with these they alsoĀ Ā included the five planets which were visible by the naked eye, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter. According to this belief each planet occupied its own layer of Heaven or potion of the sky/space, each occupying an orbit further and further away from Earth, as Earth was the considered centre of the Universe. Today weĀ realiseĀ that this apparent distance is in fact the planets orbit around the Sun, not distance from the Earth.
MoonĀ
Mercury
Venus
Sun
Mars
Jupiter
SaturnĀ
Practitioners of the Pauline Art acknowledge this concept of seven heavens and assigned Archangels to each Heaven (or planet).Ā Ā As do the beliefs of Jewish mysticism. Again these Heavens are is divided into seven realms. In order from lowest to highest, the seven Heavens, as with the Pauline Art, are listed alongside the Archangels who govern them.
Hi again! I was wondering if you had any tips on how to practice in secret? I live with my family who are all strict Christians, so I can't really be open about my craft.
Hello!
Here is some tips I found for practicing in the broom closet!
For setting up an altar, one suggestion is to place the altar in a closet, if you at least have your own room, that way it will not be on display. Another option for a larger altar is to build it inside of a box or suitcase that can be hidden under the bed when not in use.
For people who do not have their own room, small altars can be made from small boxes, even mint tins. By using smaller vials or relying on just pictures and drawings, you can make a simple, functional altar.
For offerings, although food and drink are some of the most basic offerings we make, you can also offer your prayers, the lighting of a candle or your own meditation as a form of vernation. This option works for honouring both gods and ancestors.Ā
If youāre dealing with deities or other natural spirits, then you can simply go to places that are associated with them.
For spellwork, it suggests throwing away any preconceived notion you have about what magick is supposes to look like. Tailor it to your needs. If you canāt outwardly cast a circle, sit quietly and do it in your head. Utilise sigils and use it for things like drawing in your lotion and rubbing it into your skin for beauty, confidence and protection.

Homemade Banana Bread Recipe.
My current samefood is homemade banana bread, itās sooo good and really easy to make! š Iām going to share my recipe with you all for anyone who wants to try baking it. (If youād like me to add pictures to the instructions just let me know, I can take pictures of the process next time I make it)
Ingredients:
⢠195g of plain flour.
⢠4 teaspoons of baking powder.
⢠¼ teaspoon of salt.
⢠¼ teaspoon of cinnamon.
⢠4 very ripened bananas.
⢠115g of melted unsalted butter.
⢠150g of light brown sugar.
⢠2 large (or medium) eggs, lightly beaten.
⢠1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 170° fan and prepare your loaf tin. I use baking paper to stop the banana bread from sticking to the tin. Melt the unsalted butter in the microwave so itās cool for when you need to use it. Lightly beat your eggs in a small bowl for when you need them.
Whisk the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon all together in a bowl until combined. In a separate bowl mash the bananas into a chunky paste then whisk in the melted butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract until itās all blended. Use a rubber spatula to scrape the bottom and sides of the bowl, then add the dry ingredients in 3 parts. Stir gently until itās all mixed in.
Pour the mixture into the tin and put it in the oven for 60-70 minutes (or until itās baked to your satisfaction). If you donāt want your banana bread browning too much take it out of the oven after 40 minutes and loosely cover the top with some tin foil, then put it back in the oven to finish baking. I like my banana bread to be more like a cake so I only bake it for an hour and I cover the top after 40 minutes. If you want it to be a little less soft you can bake it for longer without covering the top.
Making this for Ostara and Bealtaine! (late lol)
My personal correspondences for banana bread:
Banana (life, prosperity, protection)
Cinnamon (prosperity, passion, healing)
Brown sugar (Love, family)
Vanilla extract (peace, calming)
Salt (protection)
First time baking! Will update with more pictures š
All ready to go!
Thought Iād add the final result!!!
