i really really really hate when people downplay agravain's misogyny or blame it solely on morgan's implied mistreatment of him. but i'm not sure anybody wants to see my rant on that at 8am on a saturday

ok i will rant actually but ill put it under a cut

during the FGO singularity he is an adult man capable of seperating what his mother did to him/made him do as a child from other women as a whole and the fact that he doesn't is his CHOICE!!! he is an unrepentant misogynist because he actively benefits from it and is part of a culture/society that enables and encourages it. you can make the argument that he's a victim taking his misplaced anger out on easier targets but that doesn't justify or excuse it. it actually makes it worse!!! he's aware his beliefs/actions are wrong and would get him ripped to shreds by the other KOTR. which is likely why he doesn't make them apparent until the very end when he's alone with a heavily injured lancelot and can finally let them all out without repurcussion.

you can like aggy as a character and still think he deserves to get his ass beat for all of this. it's okay. in fact it's probably better than trying to write it off or turn it into a joke. much to think on
