too many big words. im only five. you know my mom? are you doing pranks?
Ah, sorry! Yes, I do. Does she know you are using the computer?
No, I am not doing pranks!
I sure have been busy not utilizing this blogging platform! Which is understandable, since there are always things to be done.
But perhaps it is prudent to be a bit more social outside of dutiful obligations?

Magik by Shawn McGuan
Just in time for International Women’s Day,* it’s my take on everybody’s favorite Russian inter-dimensional teleporter, Magik.
*Purely coincidental.
Even through months and constant urging to the contrary, these children are still content to haphazardly place buckets on the doors.
I am fairly adept at dodging them by now, but it is no less unpleasant!
"Artist Stephen Fitz-Gerald uses scavenged scrap metal to create these wonderful figurative sculptures. Starting with molds taken from live models he welds together industrial steel punch parts, fencing swords, and laser-cut steel scrap into these beautiful pieces that can weigh up to 100 pounds.” Source [X]

THAT’S MY GIRL
I am beginning to realize that I have been neglecting this blog once again.
It is a habit I should get back into when time permits, I always enjoy conversing with those who have the time!
Though it appears that activity is at a lull for most...
Aha, but waiting isn't a problem!
Baby, I’m not okay, so
This isn’t okay at all, and yet
Baby, I’m really not okay,
I’m always surrounded by the thrill of you
> Since settling into Infelis, you had fallen into your usual routine easily enough. The buildings here were none too high, easily facilitating your patrols both daily and nightly. Not that there was much of a difference between the two, you think with a quick glance skyward. This particular evening had you out for reasons more personal than your usual heroics, and you found yourself once more at this location dubbed The Locker.
> Crouched atop a building that barely qualified as being nearby, you examine the property closely with the intent of finding the entrance. Having approached it from the rear, there would be none to find. Getting down from your vantage point and walking around until you found it was the logical path, though you'd need to be a bit closer.
> Standing and pacing backwards, you'd do so until your heels met the opposite edge of the roof, at which point you would sprint forward and take a boosted leap with a small burst of flames from your boots. Probably unnecessary, that, as you skid to a crouching stop just inside the boundary of the fence.
I overshot it a bit, hm?
> As usual your ever-present phylactery-bound companion doesn't have much to say.
> Placing your hands on your hips, you glance towards the fence and wonder if you shouldn't just jump back out. You don't think you could achieve the right height for that without trodding all over the intricate metal wiring, though...
Hmhm. Let's say our thanks and then use the entrance proper.
Edge of Creation | Bruce Omori
> The current holiday hadn't eluded your awareness, and in between bouts of attempted heroics you had found enough opportunity to thoroughly research the subject. You were particularly charmed with the religious connotations, though there was the nagging feeling that those would hardly shine through in a place like this, so instead you focused on the more practical applications the holiday had to offer.
> Even waiting down to the last minute to venture up to Trifolium hadn't saved you from garnering some unwanted attention. You were almost good at ignoring it at this point. Figuring it alright to splurge for the holiday, though there was seemingly no end to your accessible funds, you returned back down to the one place suitable for being called home with bags and bags of goodies.
> The early morning hours were spent carefully arranging baskets with equal quantities of goods and filling plastic containers full of chocolates and candies, which were subsequently stashed around the household for the children to find once they were up. Even if you couldn't participate much in the food related activities of the holiday, you were already a bit excited to see everyone running around in good spirits.
> Another basket was crafted for Rise and very very carefully hidden away in a corner of her room. This one was filled with less candy than the others, instead having a few more practical items. Some more notepads, and a few packs of post-it notes that were colored in seasonal pastels. There was also a plush cat sporting a rabbit ear headband. Less useful, but very cute.
> Now it was all a matter of waiting before you could get some firsthand experience with these Easter festivities.
I think I have finally begun to pick up on the subtleties of different languages here!
It is a bit difficult to pinpoint when I am listening to others speaking, but I find when I am having my turn in the conversation there are slight variations from what I am used to.
Aha, were things different this would indeed be a nice skill to utilize for pay. I am happy to provide it to anyone down here free of charge, though.
