Why did your mom take your ring?

She doesn’t like asexuality and says that it’s “people being attracted to their own bodies” and dragged me on about how it ruins relationships/marriages and prevents you from having a good relationship/marriage and since she “doesn’t support that message” (of being asexual) she took it from me because it said “ace” on it. She won’t refund me for what I payed for the ring either, again because she “doesn’t support that message.”

A while ago I told her I was demisexual (i’m not actually, i’ve never even been in a relationship because i’m also aromantic and i’ve just never been interested in anyone ahaha) and explained what that was and she seemed ok with it but I guess she either changed her mind or doesn’t remember, or just doesn’t accept that as part of the ace spectrum, idk.

TL;DR: my mom is mad at me for not being horny

even if i told her i was, she’d probably get tell me to suppress my urges until marriage or a serious relationship or some bullshit like that
