I haven’t written anything in forever, so please accept my post ‘Truth’ fix-it conversation, that totally happened. Honestly most the credit for this goes to @nottesilhouette who basically wrote this. I will die on the hill that if Marinette hadn’t made excuses and just told Luka she had to leave, or couldn’t make it, and couldn’t explain why, he wouldn’t have pushed her.

1. I’m sorry for making you feel like you had to lie to me, Marinette.

2. I never wanted to make you feel like you couldn’t tell me something.

3. But I got so wrapped up trying to make sure you knew that and my own anxiety....I ended up making you feel like you had to tell me.

4. That wasn’t fair of me. I agreed to this relationship knowing that you’ve been stressed, that you don’t have a lot of free time, and I promised you that was okay, because I’d be here when you needed me, and that you were welcome to tell me everything or nothing at all. I promised it was your choice.

5. I trust you. You’ll tell me when you’re ready. And if you never are...that’s fine, too.

6. I love you and you’re enough. Just....no more excuses, okay? If you have to cancel or leave early, tell me. Even if you can’t explain why. I promise, I’ll understand.

tbh i find the a picture of a cityscape with tons of lights scattered throughout the buildings’ windows so strangely comforting.. like there are So many rooms holding people who couldbe doing all sortsof things and that just makes me feel a little less alone in the world

ohmygod... this is written so so beautifully and and the whole time i Truly felt that i was seeing and feeling everything through the young wizard’s eyes; i knew exactly how and why they felt the things they felt and it felt so.. raw? raw and genuinely human. overall this was a really well written piece and i hope i can write like this one day :D
