As a sort of response to the Frosh one, When something effects us so much emotionally, it can pretty much do anything. Frosh is the one thing Rogue loves more than anything, and having that taken away from him would bring him into the darkness and the shadow would probably take over in a heart beat. So it really is because frosh died that Rogue became evil. He was probably able to kill Sting easily too because Sting probably believed he could over come it one day.

yes but his shadow only took over because frosch was killed. im guessing that he was in such despair after frosch's death that it gave his shadow a window of opportunity to take over. that or he was so angry at frosch's killer that the shadow tempted him (promising revence, justice, etc.) to let it take over
