BLIND FAITH TAKING ONE STEP AT A TIME

We read in the bible that we will not know the mind of God nor his ways

Isaiah 55:8-9 (NKJV): "‘For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,’ says the LORD. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.’" 

For a short overview this is basically saying you will never ever know more than God. However, we can get a glimpse and understanding of his character and nature, that is revealed to us through a personal relationship with him.

The bible old and new testament divulge the multifaceted nature of God by his names. They are in the verses as you read them, it will illuminate God's nature and become so personal to us.

Studying the names of God reveals His character, attributes, and helps deepen a personal relationship with Him. The titles of His name function as windows into His nature—such as Elohim (Creator) or Jehovah Shalom (The Lord is Peace)—providing comfort, strength, and increased trust during trials. This will give us a practical understanding of how God moves in our daily life. (f4t)

Luke 7:38 is a pivotal verse, there is a city sinner women humbly repentant, she wash Jesus feet with her tears wiping them with her hair after anointing them with oil. This act shows a profound love. humility, devotion, and gratitude for Jesus forgiveness.

Her action was a symbol a deep acknowledgment of Jesus as the living water and repentance of her sins leading to a complete surrender to God's grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Contrasting the Pharisee who was the host lack of respect and hospitality.

Luke illustrates the depth of love one has for God and his love , mercy and forgiveness by showing the intricate details of the woman's actions.

Her tears represent her deep sorrow, for her sins thus forth acknowledging her need for forgiveness.

Using her hair to wipe Jesus feet shown humility placing her dignify under to show her surrender to honor Jesus.

The kiss on the feet demonstrated respect, reverence and submission that during this era was reserved only for royalty and one of a high position in society.

Pouring expensive perfume on Jesus feet exhibit a true worship by giving her most value possession , she gave all she had to show her love, admiration, and total gratitude.

In summary, this story allows for us to have a strong model of worship and true faith. Demonstrating Love, repentance, surrender, and worship that take place when one is in the presence of the Living Water and The Life Jesus Christ. The transformation of true worship one experience when they encounters Jesus saving grace and forgiveness. *f4t

In Luke 17:11-19 Jesus healed ten lepers but only one came back to give thanks. He was a Samaritan, the significance of this was the Jews despised the Samaritans which were an outcast to them.

Jesus being a Jew demonstrated compassion, grace and mercy to the marginalized lapers he showed his love that transcends all social and religious divides.

Luke emphasized that nine was physically healed but only one was not just physically healed but was healed spiritually as well.

His returning emphasized that Jesus not only touched his body but he also touched his spirit and soul. The leper thanksgiving in faith proved his gratitude of what Jesus done was more than giving him a hand, he saw Jesus as the face of salvation.

The takeaway to this story, when Jesus states, "your faith has saved you" this is showing that our faith in Jesus is a complete salvation of body, mind, and soul.

BEYOND THE VEIL

In the Bible, the teaching "beyond the veil" has several layers, initially referring to the veil separating the Holy of Holies in the Old Testament Temple, which only the high priest could pass once a year.

More broadly, it symbolizes the separation between God and humanity, and the death of Jesus, which tore the temple veil, signifies that believers now have direct access to God's presence.

Because He has passed through the heavens, we can approach God's throne of grace with confidence, find mercy and grace, and have our prayers heard.

In the Bible, the altar is a place of sacrifice and offering, and symbolizes the presence of God. The gift offered at the altar represents worship, devotion, and obedience. 

The precious blood of Jesus Christ" The altar represents a place of surrender, where we can lay down our lives and submit to the will of God. It is at the altar where we find forgiveness, healing, and restoration. Through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, we are cleansed from our sins and made whole again

 Altars are a memorial of the places where God meets us. Altars represent the occasion and place where we have had a personal encounter with God. We may not always be able to make a physical altar, but there can be one established in our hearts.
