For He satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul, He fills with good things.
Psalm 107:9 (via theriverjordyn)
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?
Jeremiah 17:9 (via resolutewoman)
Do not stunt your spiritual life by looking always for you faults. Think of God’s love. Never despair! Not until God ceases to be infinitely good and you begin to be infinitely wicked have you a right to be hopeless.
Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen (via acatholicvibe)
When a man dressed as Satan speaks more accurately about God than your pastor, you know something is wrong.

Six in 10 girls quit activities they love because of how they feel about their looks
Sorry that this isn’t Architecture related, but this is a serious issue. I can tell you from a personal point of view that I actually quit hockey when I was younger because of my self esteem issues. Girls and boys all around the world find a sport they love, but have it cut short because they do not like the way they look.
Girls and boys need their coaches, parents, friends etc. to help them through this. They need to be told that they should focus on their love for whatever sport it is instead of feeling bad about the way they look.
Pass this on, and let people know that everybody has a chance to be who they want to be without thinking about the way they look.
I quit ballet because of this. Even as a little girl, I didn’t like that my thighs were bigger than the other girls.
And I was not a chubby kid.

Is it just me or does her face say “IMMA BOSS MOTHA, HERE’S MA SON HE’S A BOSS TOO AND WANTS TO BE YO FRIEND”
My 4 year old nephew sings the alphabet Only with his mothers help And he pronounces half of the letters As the letter “B” And gets told that it’s cute And what a smart boy he is. Her 1 year old daughter Can walk and talk perfectly Yet everyone only says That she’s developing on time. My best friend’s little brother Lifts up women’s skirts And tells them that they’re pretty And strangers walking by Laugh and say “Boys will be boys”. His best friend Told him not to lift her skirt up He told her that she’s dumb And that he’s allowed to. My male friends Shout about rape and domination When they’re in the lead In their virtual worlds Where that is deemed acceptable And not a soul who’s online Will ever complain. What they’re saying Isn’t only acceptable in the game And I hear their fathers Yelling about quarterbacks raping the other team. My older brother watches movies With aliens and girls with large boobs Who only have lines about the man Who the whole audience knows She will fuck later. She is not her own character. Her personality type is “fuckable” And men only like her “characters” body. These men think the same of their girlfriends. What will they do when they have daughters? When a man doesn’t know something that a woman does, They say that it’s not important. When a woman doesn’t know something that a man does, They are called stupid and told Their man should have taught them better. I find it funny that these people Send their children off to school To learn from the same gender That they play off as eye-candy and stupid. But I am not oppressed. Women are only the most common rape victims because of their stupidity. I am only overreacting. I cannot save myself from the kitchen. I cannot dig my butter knives and pots and pans Into the hearts of those who are arrogant. I cannot raise my sons to think of women as equal. I cannot raise my daughter to love herself without a man. I am not oppressed.
