The simple ordinary joy of praying for a friend is an extraordinary thing. To think, that we can touch upon the fabric of the one who sculpts galaxies, that He could make one ripple across history from a gesture of humility. Perhaps no visible change will happen the second we ask, but certainly we ourselves change as we’re asking. We might not get what we want, but we then become a people who are not left wanting.
