So is this blog still alive or no?
//When I'm not constantly ill and have a motivation to write for Mary, yeah. Sorry I'm not as active as I used to be, I'm dealing with a lot of problems and stress. I can't be on here as much as I used to :( I have a very poor immune system and I'm a student :(:(//

Ciel felt disturbed as she described what her ‘papa’ painted and such but well if he painted her, he must of had some taste in art but legalese women was still disturbing to say the least, Ciel would listen to what Mary had to say and he’d smile as it felt good to affect another person like this and have them be happy on your account and such “Ah well I’m sorry about him dying and I’m sorry no one seen you for who you are on the outside world till now” Ciel would give her a hug once again and with a deep breath he’d even plant just a real quick peck on her lips “H-haha hopefully that helped make ya feel a bit better and such…” Ciel gave an awkward chuckle
Mary blushed a bit but smiled, hugging Ciel tightly before laying back down.
“It’s okay, I never got to meet him, and I’m assuming he never met me. The real me, if there was one. No one knows why he made me. The gallery liked me because I was the last thing he made, and I was whole. I don’t know how or what I am now, but I think I’m still fabricated.” A hand made it’s way to her burning cheek, chuckling a little.
“Promise you’ll take good care of my portrait?”

“Uh well for me it was bad so uh I don’t want to talk about it but for most normal people it’s pretty nice but it has its moments” Ciel would lay down completely in bed while looking up at the ceiling and he’d still be holding Mary’s hand “Uh hey have you ever kissed?, sorry I know that’s a weird question but you seem quite nice and such” Ciel really wanted to see her reaction as he imagined doing such a thing would make her get even more clingy
Feeling bad for having made Ciel upset or uncomfortable, Mary mumbled an apology before lying down beside him and staring at the roof too.
“Back in the gallery, before you moved me to your’s, it was mostly just me. I’m a painting of a girl they found after my creator, I guess he’s kind of my Papa? They found me after he’d died. In the gallery, everything he painted came to life! He was very good, he made all sorts of things!” The blonde was grinning, imagining the home she’d left behind for the mansion now. “My Papa made these ladies, from the middle up, and they came in pretty colors! They didn’t have legs, because he never gave them legs, so they had to crawl around with their frames, but they were nice enough! Red and Blue would read me stories, Green liked to do my hair, and Yellow liked to talk!”
Her smile turned sad as she looked at her portrait on the wall, a dry chuckle leaving her. “No one there was like me, no one wanted to leave. They believed the gallery was where we belonged, where we were supposed to stay. Sometimes people, like you, they came in and got lost. I wanted to leave, to see the real world, to live like my Papa... But no one wanted me... ‘Visitors’ wouldn’t like me any more when they learned what I was, and they left me.” Mary turned to look at Ciel, expression serious.
“You’re the first person to care about me like Papa did, and I’ve never known that before. It’s one thing to be cared for because of what you are, but another to be cared for because of who you are.”

Ciel would smile as he saw her wipe her face and even more so when she sounded so excited to try a lot of different food and such though he’d perk up as he heard her question so he’d hurry and answer her “Hm well yes and I’ve been born here”
Intrigue, interest, and curiosity were some of the emotions that bubbled up inside of Mary, grinning ear to ear as she sat up straight to look at Ciel.
“What is it like? Growing up?” Images and stories she’d read and seen flashed through her mind as she let her imagination go wild, wanting to know as much as she could as reality hit her hard, realizing she was really in the outside world now.

“Ah well no not all is sweet and good but it also depends if you like it or not and you can only tell if you like it, if you try it you’ll find out and such” Ciel would say this with a smile and he’d wipe the icing from her mouth and Ciel would to see her reaction, kiss her though he didn’t have those type of feelings for her as they didn’t know each other long
Mary wiped her face over with her hand after Ciel had gotten the icing, not wanting to look messy or gross. Her creator had spent so much time on her after all, best not to waste it.
“I can’t wait to eat all kinds of things!” She smiled, looking down at the cake as the child hummed in thought. “You know a lot about this world, right? Were you a painting before too, or were you born here?”

“Hm ok,oh also!, that’s butterscotch and it tastes rather good, try some” Ciel would smile and lean against the headboard of his bed as he waited for her to go and try the candy as she clearly not had it before so he was curious what she’d think
Mary stared at it, puzzled as she took her time examining the piece of candy before she hesitantly placed it in her mouth. A smile spread across her face as she took the taste in, little giggles leaving her.
“This is really really really good! You were right!” Excitedly, she reaches for a small piece of the strawberry cake, trying that too. Mary grinned a bit wider, traces of icing around her mouth. “This is too! Is all food this good and sweet?”

“Oh well here, I got me some not long ago before you showed up” Ciel would hand her a cake and some butterscotch but he’d ask her a serious question “Er uh you won’t leave me either right?….I-I uh am asking as…well you said something about leaving earlier…” Ciel was of course acting but he was convincing, he wanted to see how she’d react
The blonde shook her head, not knowing anymore if it was a lie or the honest truth. He did have her portrait after all, and she had no clue if it was damaged if she’d be okay or not.
“No, I won’t leave you. You’re my only friend, and you’re my first friend. I’ll stay with you, you’re nice to me!” Mary let out a couple of little giggles as a smile made its way to her face, inspecting the cake and butterscotch curiously. “I’ve seen pictures of cake before, but what is this?”

“Yes to all those things, I mean what I say so you don’t have to doubt me dear” Ciel would give the girl a smile before holding her hand a bit tighter though he made sure not to hurt Mary, in a way she kinda was a part of the art he bought…. so you know “Oh!, I also quite like sweets, strawberry cake is one of my favorites”
Mary chuckles, smiling as she watches their hands, over joyed.
“I’ve never had sweets or strawberry cakes, what are they like?” The portrait was rethinking her plan of leaving to wander the mansion, instead imagining the pictures she’s seen of candy and cake. There were so many things Mary just couldn’t wait to experience!

“Hm of course we can” Ciel would hug her tightly as well “Also I won’t leave you I really mean it” Ciel honestly wondered how she’d react to slightly romance things like holding hands so he’d take hold of one of her hands to see her reaction and such
Mary hadn’t expected that and was shocked, wide eyed as she looked at where their hands were interlaced. She quickly grinned, holding Ciel’s hand just as tightly.
“We really are best friends! So we can eat cakes and sweets together? And paint and play?” If she hadn’t wanted to keep Ciel her friend now she really wanted to after the affection he’d shown Mary, the little girl full of joy.

So there was something….wrong with this girl but she just needed love in his opinion “I’m sorry I won’t leave you, I promise” Ciel would again make a pinkie promise “I love you, as a friend of course but still” Ciel would wipe the girls tears and give her a kiss on the cheek before hugging her as close as he could to him, he’d run his fingers through her hair as well just to try and soothe her more
Mary sniffled but smiled, holding the earl tightly as she rested her head against him. “You-You mean it? That we’re friends and you won’t leave me?” This hadn’t been what she’d expected, but it was the best outcome the girl could’ve wished for, feeling the grin spread widely across her face.
“Can we be friends? Best friends? Forever?”

“Hm of course!” Ciel take her pinkie with his pinkie before letting go “There also later on I have to go and no one else will be here” this was a lie but he was curious how she’d react to this as she admittedly felt off somehow but he couldn’t really explain so he was testing the waters so to say
Mary didn’t like the sound of that, grin falling as she looked at him a bit blankly, shaking her head as she snapped at him. “You can’t leave me!” Her breathing became shaky as she tried to calm herself, hands balled in fists, thinking of a way to recover from her sudden burst of anger.
“I-I’ve never been here, where people aren’t animated portraits! I’m afraid, I need you!” Small, fake tears pooled in Mary’s eyes as she let out a shaky exhale, looking up at the ceiling again. “Please, Ciel, don’t leave me all alone...”

“Hm oh well I don’t mind doing those things at all and well it’s rather nice outside though it’s dark out right now but we can go outside in the morning I promise” Ciel would give her a little pat on the head and a light smile but he’d look outside as well
Mary grinned ear to ear, mind swimming as she imagined what the real outside world was going to look like, holding her pinkie out to Ciel as she looked him in the eyes.
“Do you, uh, what’s it called...” She hums in thought, trying to remember and think back on what she’d read in the gallery. “Oh! Yeah! Do you pinkie promise?”

Mary smiled and thanked Ciel, playing with the front of her bangs as she laid there and looked up at the ceiling. “Could we play games? And paint and draw together? I’d like that very much!”
She rolled over on her side so she could look out at his window at the night, grinning. “What’s it like? Being outside?”

“Oh uh I’m sorry about that also no I didn’t get any of the others though I can if you’d like, also no not all the rooms are and yes the food is good also yes I do.” Ciel would smile and get up from bed and since she was well so childish, he thought it’d be best if she slept with him “Oh uh also you can sleep with me if you’d like.” Ciel would return to his bed before laying down and getting under the covers once again.
Mary smiled a bit, coming back over and sitting down. “There was a really comfy bed back in the gallery, but I had a hard time sleeping in it, it didn’t feel right.” She ran her hands along the sheets, grinning. “These are soft! You must have really good naps!”
The child laid back excitedly, nuzzling a pillow. “This is great!” She was waiting for Ciel to go back to sleep so she could explore the manor and all his other paintings, see where his friends were and if they wanted to play.
