A breakdown of how I made the wool material: a look inside the inner workings of the shader, and what kind of geometry & textures I used.

A breakdown of how I made the fur material: a look inside the inner workings of the shader, and what kind of geometry & textures I used.
A little campsite showcasing all the materials I made for my graduation project 'Tactile Materials', where I made three materials using their tactile properties as the starting point for the creation process: Soft Fur, Smooth Silk & Rough Wool. I will post breakdowns of each material these following days!
Had some fun learning a couple of things in After Effects, decided to try it out on my last paint.
Some special effects I did. This battlemage compresses arcane energy in the air around him, causing it to take on a solid and physical form, as long as he can hold it. He can displace these shapes with telekinesis, pushing or pulling objects by placing a force on it. Displayed here are a couple of spells:
Animalfriend
My very first WoW character! A night elf survival hunter. Spent his adventuring days among dwarves and gnomes, and learnt quite a bit of engineering from them. He remembers his patrolling duties in the Wetlands fondly, keeping the agressive wildlife off the road, but greeting every other animal he could.
Here’s some fanart of my favorite character: My frosty death knight, Morvydd. Just a chill dude with a sword, he’s cool.
Also daaaammn tumblr compression sucks, full view for full enjoyment c:
I’ve wanted to draw Illidan for the longest time, and finally, after some preparations, I grabbed the bull by the horns, and here he is; our sweet, winged friend.
I worked on a Ludum Dare game with a bunch of friends: Hexa-GO.
You can play it HERE!
This was our first time participating in a Ludum Dare, for most of us even our first game jam. I’ve programmed this game and combined all the assets in Unity.
These are two characters I made, Sarissa and Viktor. Not too kind on each other. As you might recognize, I decided to take the art of Darkest Dungeon as a styleguide for these characters.
Short description:
Sarissa is kinda like lady justice, who’d stab anyone above her just to be able to spread more justice across the lands. Even when that person was doing the right thing, she can do it better.
Viktor is a beastmaster who wanted more, and found his calling in leading people. Now he is crazed by his power and starts believing his own foolish ideas.
First background for a game I’m working on. It moves and fades and all that fancy stuff in-game. It even has sparkles ^^ Hopefully I’ll be able to post more soon!
Screens from a visual game (read walking simulator) I made: “A New Road”.
Everything (except for the skybox, sorry) is made and implemented by me, including pretty shaders, textures, scripted events and floaty cubes.
I wrote a shader for dynamic planets a little while back. You can insert textures for the land and sea mass, clouds and citylights visible during nighttime.
Little environment concept for a game that will one day be.
Something I drew a little while back
