When I was around 10 I made up all these stories starring animals. These two got stuck in my mind over all these years. The harpy eagle is a female, the secretary bird a male. They had no names and I can’t rememer any other details.

Drawn part of childhood fantasy. Back to drawing hairy men.

Yesterday something interesting happened while I was spending the late afternoon in a Park. I was approached by a boy selling truffles on the street, we had met before and he had asked me about the eagle feather that I used to carry with me in my backpack. Remembering me, he asked where was my "wing" (he mistook the word 'feather' for 'wing'). Then ran away, almost shouting to his friend saying “Look, it’s that guy with a huge eagle wing!” in front of a bunch of people.

— Only later I realized the irony of the situation 😅
