But no seriously dude I straight up started like…sobbing just a little when I saw this. From just complete and utter joy. I cannot begin to express comprehensibly how much I love this  – the written word always make one look more put-together and calm than they are but….just take me at my word when I say I freaked the fuck out about this in the best way possible. 

“A video based off my fic” is the kind of crazy, idle daydream every fanfic author has–the kind of thing I’ve fantasized about in the “it’ll never happen but IMAGINE” way since I began working on this fic way back when. Especially as someone who loves music so much and is influenced by so much of it in my writing, there’s nothing quite like the combination of art and music for me. From a quoted lyric to an entire comic, art using the music I love and that drives my writing is just…the best Idea to me, the best Fanart Dream – and an actual goddamn video is the very Peak of that. 

I’ve probably watched this 50 times trying to get my thoughts together on this. I’ve downloaded it, I’ve taken screenshots of every frame…I just…I adore it. I adore every piece of it. It’s so beautiful and I don’t even know what specifics to pick out because everything about it is magnificent. The timing in relation to the music, the way the fallen children are set against the other human figures, the lighting, the colors (holy shit the COLORS). Just. Every piece of it. I love every piece of it so much.

Thank you. Thank you so much for this – so, so very much. It’s….every piece of fanart is a gift that I treasure, but I must admit this is one I’ll hold particularly close to my heart. I can’t not. 

I don’t want to pressure you to continue/finish this – especially when I know how much goddamn work even this clip would have been – and if you choose not to, I will treasure this piece of it all the same with just as much love. But if you do choose to keep working on it, just know I will adore it, and will happily give you whatever you need to help you along. Extra explanations on how fallen children came to Mt. Ebott? Done (I don’t rlly consider that spoilers anyways tbh…I think there’s even a goddamn minific for Kindness’s backstory somewhere on the blog). Reference art? Absolutely. Hit me up. I’ve watched this like 40 times I swear to god. I love it so fucking much. Your chibis are always so cute and I love the way you draw Integrity and seeing her animated is just So Fucking Neat. Also the aesthetics & coloring is all rad as hell and I fucking love the incorporation of the echo flowers it’s so perfect for her. 

Like I am such a Hoe for song videos and as such I am going to hoard this like a little goblin and make all my friends look at it and probably just cry a lot more over it (yes I have already cried it made me that happy).

I don’t know what I expected when you said you were making a vine animation, but this definitely exceeds any expectations I had lol. This is so cute, and so funny, I’ve watched it like…idk. 20 times?

I love how in character this is it’s fucking Perfect. I’ve never even seen this vine before but I can’t stop giggling. The like…disco lights at the end are what really get me.

Also in a weird way those pics in the background of the Gaster pic make my heart hurt. Ow. Such a happy family. I’m so awful to them.

OH MY GOSH THIS IS SO COOL??

I cannot begin to tell you how long I’ve sat here just watching this on a loop. It’s so beautiful and the animation is so fluid and I’m just…I’m completely blown away!! I’ve pictured Sans and Inte’s dances so many times in my head, but I never thought I’d get to see them for real, and it’s…God, it’s such a big deal for me. My heart hurts just watching my poor kids dance, and at the same time I’m so happy looking at this! Sans and Inte are so adorable, and the background is so lovely, and everything is just perfect from the way they move their feet to Inte’s little ponytail.

You have a serious animation talent my dude. I cannot begin to fathom how much work this must have been, and the fact that you chose to use up so much time making something for my stupid story humbles me so much. This is just…so fucking pretty, and I don’t know how to put into words how much I love it. Hopefully I’m conveying it properly!

Oh my god!!! My dude!!!! This is so freaking beautiful????

I’ve probably watched this like 30 times in a row with this big, goofy smile on my face–it just makes me so happy (in truth? I kind of needed that happy right now and this really Cheered Me Up). Your art is just so consistently gorgeous, and as I’ve said before, I’m such a dumb baby for AMVs. I love them so much–I rewatch your old ones constantly as well. 

And this AMV is…insanely beautiful, even as just a WIP. I love the gorgeous painted style of it so much, even the background alone are so so pretty. And the kids!! Are so cute!! I always love your Integrity art but she is ADORABLE here–and so are Sans and little Grillby!! Just the whole thing works so well…the lyrics, the slow image pans…God the last line, with the pan to Integrity’s stuff….it breaks my heart. You’re so good at making me feel sad over Integrity and I’m the asshole who killed her off lmao (but also who doesn’t love a little suffering over their own characters I sure do). 

And what a song choice, too…I’m so flattered that you’ve picked stuff out of my playlists multiple times now–I love all AMVs, but seeing the music I’ve grown to associate with this story come to life is a real, special treat. Hopeless Wanderer was a big song for me when I was first working on Not As Simple, and seeing this has given a whole new dimension to its lyrics.

Even if this stays a WIP and you never “finish” it–this will remain a treasured little video for me, as will the other AMVs you’ve worked on. I already love them, and they inspire me so much.

MY FAVORITE VOID ENTITY IN ANIMATION NOW YOU’VE REALLY SPOILED ME??

Seriously though this is super cool??? I’ve watched this like 20 times just like mouthing along to the line and I’m just so utterly delighted and, yes, embarrassingly, kind of Emotionally Moved. Remnant really is like…my baby and this is one of my favorite moments with them & to see that in motion is super special and awesome for me.

You’ve done an amazing job capturing their form, too, like… The static? The silhouette form to them? The white mouth and eyes that almost just feel like holes?? This is exactly Remnant’s overall look/energy. I feel like you took that “like memory undone” line I’m so fond of and just…absolutely brought it to life. I’m staggered.

Man this was such a cool thing to see before heading to bed (yes I’m going to bed at 6am let me live). It kind of just Invigorates me and fills me with that sweet sweet writerly motivation. I shall surely dream of Remnant and Sans and all the plot nonsense I’ve got stored up in the uhhh….2 hours I’ve got before I have to get up for the day (Woof. Good job me.)

Hi there! I have a fanart for @pastel-clark (@fallendownfallenback) here. It is a scene from their fanfic "Not As Simple As A Happy Ending".

I am not very good at drawing on my phone, but I hope you will like it.

It's a scene from chapter 3, where Sans and K. slipped on ice. When I read this chapter, I imagined this scene in my head for a moment and just like... "I have to draw it for sure."

So it is some kind of sketch. I tried to step out of my comfort zone, so this time I drew background and painted the whole drawing with colours (even if it is still black&white (though I think black&white is pretty good here with all this atmosphere))
