She needed to act normal and maybe he would just leave. “Um.. me..” Thinking for a moment Jo finally was able to talk. “Sometimes living off the road can get old after a while and you kinda just end up somewhere. My truck broke down about a mile from here, and I needed to work off the payment so i came here. The rest is history.” A true smile formed as she was starting to calm down. “How did you end up here?”

“I’m just passing through. Been travelling for business and I like dive bars so pulled in for a break.” Drinking his whiskey he smiled. “Have you paid off your truck? You must get a lot of tips out here.” He looked around the bar seeing it was mostly old bikers and people who looked like they were on the run.

Nodding at his response she smiled looking around. “They don’t really tip that much, but I’m a pool shark and I think I’m pretty good at poker. So I was able to pay for it that way.” Her eyes widened a bit hopeing she wasn’t giving too much away. “Yeah.. mind if I drink with ya. It’s been a long night.” Without waiting for a response she poured herself a double whiskey and downed it.

It took a moment for her to calm herself. “U-um.. S-sure.” She stammered making a face when she realized. It was Dean Winchester sitting in front of her, and he had no clue who she really was. This was going to be either really good, or really horrible. Nodding she quickly turned and grabbed the whiskey bottle taking a moment before turning back to him. She needed to compose herself.

Biting her bottom lip she released it turning back to him placing the glass in front. She filled it halfway, know him he probably needed it. “Do you wanna kee a tab open?” Her dark eyes finally met his.

“Yeah thanks” It was a decent bar so he knew he’d be there a couple of hours at least. The waitress was hot and in the past he would have been flirting up a storm but with everything that had happened he’d almost lost interest in that having battled against so much. Sam was starting to say he’d been worn down by it all which was probably true. “How did someone like you end up out here?”
