Day 1: Inside the Song
This is from one of my favorites, and everytime I hear it I get Eden Adamsapple vibes🥹🥹🥹
Hi I've been suffering from dumb health issues lately so I haven't been able to finish any drawings. So... Have some sketches from a New AU me n @fallennumbskull have. Sin of Pride Adam AU or Pride Adam AU for short.
An Adamsapple Exes AU where after Adam ate the apple, instead of them both being cast down to Hell, Adam was sent alone and Lucifer was punished In Heaven with heavy isolation and intense and constant scrutiny.
Adam was alone in Hell and thus never really learned how to be around people and is like a fucked up Eden Adam in terms of Maturity. He's childish and disconnected from things and he suffers from the painful inability to create sentient life and instead can only make empty husks and puppets. The denizens of Hell are all made by the Other Sins and Adam Definitely doesn't hurt from not being able to Create Life which was his Main Purpose for being Made.
Lucifer was, first, isolated. Locked away and ignored and kept alone for centuries. Which does Amazing things for the psyche. And then he was freed directly into the custody of someone whose interest in him was Not for Lucifer's wellbeing but their Own desires and plans. Lucifer is a shell of who he used to be, his joy and soul and spark completely Gone. The only thing that can bring him any happiness anymore is his Daughter, made by the one who wishes to control him as a means to inextricably tie Lucifer to them.
Oh right, and to make things Worse, Lucifer is placed as the leader of the Exorcists, required to visit Hell yearly. He doesn't engage with the killing, he mostly just dissociates. Adam is there though, and he still loves Lucifer as much as he always had, and is trying to make sure Lucifer loves him back. He's no longer the man Lucifer loved, but the angel still feels a deep fondness for him, though he won't say the words Adam so desperately wants to hear.
Charlie for her part is still an optimist, even if she knows her origin story isn't a Great Tale of Love. And she's determined to try and make life better for All Humans. So when she finds out her Dad is Leading these Exterminations, she desperately wants to find another solution and Fix This. For the Sinners and for her Dad. So she meets with Adam to find an alternative, which he agrees to because a) he literally doesn't care about the Exterminations, he just wanted an excuse to see Lu and b) if Charlie is visiting Hell for this, he can use her to get to Lucifer (in the 'Maybe he'll show up to be with his daughter sometimes' way, but if he's desperate enough in the 'threaten her to get Lucifer's attention' way too)
So Charlie starts running the Hotel, as an Angel this time, to help Sinners seek and find Redemption! She also is kinda sorta hoping to reunite Adam and her Dad because after Adam told her that he and her Dad used to be a thing and he still Loves him and Lucifer confirmed that they used to be in love a long time ago, she wants to give her Dad a great love story again and maybe then he can finally be happy-

My Lucifer - Baby Bugs
It is time once again for an animatic! This time with the Fallen Adam AU!
Adam got too Blasphemous, the Exorcists smelled blood in the water and Adam ended up getting saved by Lucifer (because Charlie asked him to). And now Lucifer is Responsible for him. He doesn't want to get involved with Adam's hobby of tormenting Sinners for fun, but unfortunately he's finding himself growing Fond of the guy.
(for the record because for the sake of the animatic I couldn't show it, Lute was basically too shellshocked by what happened and now Questioning Everything her life has ever meant to step in one way or the other with the exorcists)

Adam and the amoeba he found
@fallennumbskull & I came up with a design for our Fallen Angel Adam. He's a Bicorn, creatures known to devour faithful husbands and are tied to Lust. He's also a Donkey because Reasons (him being a jackass is only 1 of them). His clothes are the tattered and corrupted remnants of his battle robe. They took his wings when he fell so he's gotta work to get them back.
He's full of resentment and spite for Heaven yeeting his ass for his Blasphemy. Turns out telling people they should be Worshipping you is a big no-no. Also, you know, the gay Lust for the Devil didn't help.
