Welcome to episode 3 of "my dog is dying", to express condolences help gather emergency funds send to [email protected] via paypal
He was perfectly fine yesterday morning, and has now stopped eating and is completely sucked up. Other fun symptoms include vomiting bile, mucus filled diarrhea, and the ever so fun respiratory distress to the point of stopping breathing 7 times now. I honestly don't think he'll even make it to the vet- I'm far enough out it will take over an hour to get there and all of the closest places will be closed, the closest emergency vet is almost three hours away. Baseline cost for getting him in after hours is $200 aaand before anyone starts trying to bitch me out over it, he is vaccinated and dewormed and I do not want even a tiny lil bit of advice on how to handle this, kindly do not
This is the lil guy in question, he’s still fighting for me but I can’t take him in anywhere unless I can pay upfront in full (yes I know about care credit, no I don’t have it, no none of the vets out here in BFE take it anyway)
He's still kicking, just barely. He's not keeping water or pedialyte down. Set him down for more than a few minutes and he goes cold. If he makes it through the night- and you can bet your ass I'm not sleeping- I can get him in for a standard exam fee, but it is still due up front. $40 plus w/e tests and treatment he needs, might be $200ish total instead of $200 baseline. I know Covid has been a bitch and it's the holidays, but this lil guy isn't even three months old yet- please, please boost this!
