“Yes, he can come back home and I can go back to hating him…” Greg was partly joking. He wasn’t sure he could ever go back to hating Nate entirely, but he could certainly hate Nate’s actions if he was still using. He took her hand and started to walk. He couldn’t help but laugh as Keegan nodded and put his hand to his lips in a secret keeping manner. “He is everyone’s favorite rightfully so…” Greg chuckled, glancing toward Fallon and winking at her. “What would you like for lunch?” 

Fallon gave him a look when he said he could go back to hating him.  It made her feel a bit guilty about all the time she had spent harping on Henley and she sighed softly.  “Or you and I could both use this opportunity to be more thankful and understanding of the family we have.” She pointed out.  She smiled as Keegan showed that he would keep the secret before looking back at Greg.  “Does he look like you when you were that age?” She asked, giving his hand a small squeeze.  “Honestly after what we were talking about, I wouldn’t say no to something unhealthy, like a big cheeseburger or something,”

“No…” Greg sighed, “I imagine voicemails could be complicated with his lack of voice and risky… then again, it is all risky…” He knew that she was right though. If something had happened, technology, investigation would eventually lead back to him and he would know whether Nate was dead, but in a way that was more scary than never knowing. It was all scary… With the subject change and her agreement to lunch, he smiled a bit. “You hear that, kid; we are her favorite…” He chuckled, kissing Keegan’s head before moving to stand up.  He held Keegan’s hand with his left and held out his right to her. 

“I guess that’s true. It just seem like if anyone could find a way, it would be him.” Fallon offered, letting out a small sigh.  She put her hand gently on Greg’s shoulder, wishing there was more that she could help him with.  “You know, once they catch this person, you and I could, well, we could try and find him. Bring him back safely.” She needed this person caught, sooner rather than later. For Eliza, for Nate, for Greg’s wife, for all the others.  She got quiet for a second as she thought about her sister, her brow furrowing slightly.  She brushed it off though as she looked at Keegan. “Don’t tell your dad but you’re my favorite favorite.” She winked before letting out a small laugh and taking Greg’s hand.

“I live perpetually unsure of whether or not to answer unknown calls...” Greg spoke softly, hugging Keegan to his side with one arm and holding his phone in the other. He glanced toward Fallon and almost frowned. “I sort of hate having sent him out on his own...” He didn’t really talk about Nathaniel often. It was too dangerous, but Fallon already knew that situation and with Keegan hugged to his side anyone could easily guess that maybe he was talking about the kid. “Anyway...” He forced his lips to turn upward into a smile. It wasn’t hard to do when he was looking at Fallon though. “We came to ask if you would want to join us for lunch?”

Fallon nodded softly at Greg’s words, doing her best to keep a reassuring smile on her face.  “Have you gotten any voicemails from him?” She asked, knowing that she had gotten a thank you post card that had come from an unknown address that she assumed had to be from him.  “I think you would know if something bad happened to him. With all the dna tests out there, I’m sure they would find a way to contact you if...” She didn’t finish her sentence, looking down at Keegan and giving him a small smile.  Fallon looked back at Greg as he spoke again, returning his smile and nodding. “How could I turn down a lunch date with my two favorite men?”

Emily was squinting down at the sketchpad on the table in front of her. She couldn’t tell if what she was currently working on was any good or not, she was doubting quite a lot today. Looking up, she noticed them and offered a smile. “Hey – what do you think about this?” She asked, turning the book around so they could see the dress designs she was currently working on.

Fallon was in a bit of daze after working night shifts all week and it took her a moment before she realized that the woman was speaking to her.  She looked at the sketchbook and smiled in awe. She wasn’t sure what she had been expecting but the dress designs were beautiful. “Those are amazing.”

“I certainly want to kiss you. I just also don’t want to push my luck and ruin a date…” He grinned a bit, tucking his hands in his pockets. “Two creams, please.”  

Fallon blushed slightly at his admission, looking at him.  “I can tell you now, it won’t ruin it.” She moved to make his coffee, making one for herself as well before returning to him.  “How has your day been?”

Greg smiled a bit and nodded. “Well, we will see how it goes… I promise not to push my luck.” he chuckled a bit, walking alongside her to the cafeteria. 

“Hope that doesn’t mean you don’t want to kiss me.” Fallon admitted, teasing him as she walked into the cafeteria and towards the coffee station. “How do you take it?”

“You have no reason to feel bad. I was the one who decided to come here…” He chuckled a bit and nodded, “–but I would love to have a bad cup of hospital coffee with you. But does that mean our date later is our second date?” 

“I guess that is true...” Fallon laughed softly, tugging her hair behind her ear.  She looked at him, furrowing her brow slightly at his question before shrugging. “Um, it might, yeah.” She nodded. “But that does mean that you have a better chance of getting a kiss after it.” She smirked a bit, leading him towards the cafeteria.

“I hope so, otherwise we’re all in a lot of trouble,” she replied, “I’d rather we figure this out before someone a lot higher up does.”

Fallon nodded. “I got it. I’ll keep it between me and you.”

Either Adelaide was too tired to be able to tell if Fallon was aware of the missing medication or not or she was not good at reading people because she couldn’t tell if Fallon was genuinely concerned or not. “I’d appreciate that.” The last thing she needed was for -A to pin the missing medication on her.

“I’m sure it’ll show up.” Fallon offered, knowing that they’d been having a few computer glitches in the system lately so maybe a file or two had been lost.  She would just have to compare them to the paper copies.

Greg smiled gently as she shut down his apologies. He gave a small nod, licking his bottom lip. “Seven… that sounds perfect.” He agreed, taking a step back. “Text me your address and I will pick you up.” 

Fallon nodded, looking at him. “I feel bad that you came all this way just to ask me on a date.” She mused.  “Can you at least have a bad cup of hospital coffee with me?”

Cole chuckled softly, leaning forward to get a better look at her crossword. “Yeah, it’s ‘elevation’. I think.” He laughed again and shrugged. “Unless nine down doesn’t fit into that?”

Fallon looked across before sighing softly. “No, you are right. It’s elevation.”

“Okay, I will,” she said, nodding. She was about to sneak into the on call room when she stopped herself. “Actually, could you do one thing?” she asked. How to approach this without really accusing anything? “I’ve noticed some medication missing from the pharmacy. Maybe I was just really tired and miscounted but could you do a recount or a check the logs to see if we can find out where those meds went?”

Fallon looked back at Adelaide as she spoke.  Her brow furrowed slightly at the idea of missing medication but she nodded. “Yeah, of course, I’ll look into i and let you know what I figure out.”

Greg laughed and shook his head slightly. “I am sorry…” He grinned, “I know this is probably the cheesiest and stupidest way to ask anyone on a date. But yes, that is definitely what I was doing. Unless this is very stalker like and you hate it. Then I am only asking you to get a drink with me. No date, just drinks…” That probably didn’t sound at all better. He felt like he was digging himself into a hole. He suspected by the look on her face though that she was teasing and didn’t hate the idea. 

Fallon couldn’t help but smile at him as he stammered his way through his statement.  “No, no, no, I don’t hate it. Promise.” She nodded, looking at him. “I would like to go to dinner with you.  I get off in an hour and after that I should probably shower and change and everything. But I can do seven, if that woks for you?”

“I’m probably just going o grab a couple hours in the on call room,” she replied. “I’m supposed to be back anyway at the next hift change so there’s no point in really going home.”

Fallon looked at her friend, nodding softly. “Alright, well, I’ll be around if you need anything just hit me up, okay?” She offered, giving her a small smile. “I think I’m probably going to be doing a double as well, seeing how empty it is around here.”

“I thought about it, but I was already here and I didn’t have anything better to do anyway. It’s not exactly like I have an active social life. Although I’m regretting that decision now.”

Fallon looked at her, nodding. She knew she was guilty of doing the same thing far more often than she should. “Are you going to be able to get home okay?”

“Just got done with a double, actually. Whoever made the schedule this week apparently was drunk when they did. Midday shift was completely short-staffed.”

Fallon shook her head as she pulled up the charts.  “You should have called me. I would have come in.  You know I don’t have some fix fancy exciting life.” She chuckled softly.

This was extremely intrusive and something that he never would have considered before today. It was about seven in the evening and he had been sitting all day staring at the empty urn. He needed to get out and do something. Talk to someone who he didn’t have to lie to. He walked into the hospital, simply hoping that she might be here. He should have kept her phone number, but he hadn’t really thought about it before he sent Nate’s phone away in an evidence bag. 

“Is Fallon Frazier here, by chance?” He asked the nurse at the receptionist desk. He took a deep breath and tucked his hands in his pockets as he waited for her to be paged. He paced the floor almost, reading some of the signs along the walls. He then turned when he heard footsteps coming his way. “I am sorry. This is probably wildly inappropriate.” He spoke softly as he approached her. “What time do you get off and would you like to get dinner with me?”

Fallon had just finished up her rounds and was waiting for the next round of buzzers that she sure would light up as she sat down at the computer to do some charts.  Hearing her name being paged to the front, she furrowed her brow getting to her feet.  After making sure that her aide was able to cover her rooms she made her way to the front. 

 She chuckled softly when she saw who it was before giving a small head shake.  “I have to admit, I wasn’t sure what I was going to walk into. This is probably the best case scenario.” She admitted.  She looked at him, giving him a small smile. “You came to the hospital and paged me, to ask me on a date?” he teased, giving him a look.
