With this Tweet being posted just after the teaser gif for Fallout 76, Obsidian regretfully confirms they have no part in Fallout 76, meaning no Fallout New Vegas-esque gameplay, unfortunately. 

Nonetheless, here’s hoping for another fantastic installment in the Fallout universe.

Given as the track used is Country Roads, it may be safe to assume Fallout 76 will be set in West Virginia. Additionally, the Pip Boy time reads 21st of Oct 2102 0634, so if Bethesda has any sense of humor, it’s likely they’d have a release date slotted for on or around October 21st. However, Fallout 4 was released on the 10th of November and Fallout New Vegas was released the 19th of October. At the very least, we can hope for a autumn release date if all goes well.
