little thing i wanted to say before my first willmack piece (sig lover one) i hadn’t drawn anything in almost 2 years. not an artist’s block, just life, i guess. being overworked to the point where even things you love start feeling very far away. whatever. my creative side was nowhere to be seen.

it took one summer and one very eventful 25-26 sjs season (both i lurked tf out) for me to marinate enough to pick up a pencil again.

i’m really glad i did! i love them, i love drawing them, no idea how long this will last, but for now i’m having the time of my life.

also, the amount of kindness from this community has been genuinely lovely. even the occasional anonymous death threat deserves a mention —-—the idea of being emotionally invested enough to hate someone’s hockey art is, frankly, fascinating.

anyway. grateful, amused, and still drawing. for now the pencil remains in service🪄 (also keep dropping your suggestions i do read and consider)
