There's a new Baywatch? Where have I been? Actually, I know the answer to that, so I don't know why I asked. I'm Ashton Fletcher Irwin, drummer for the best boyband on the planet. Which band you ask? Why, 5 Seconds of Summer, of course!
yeah it's been filming for months now. i really don't want the experenice to end. it has been a really fun. it's nice to meet you ashton. i have no idea who that band is. i am also almost in my late forties.
I have always been a beach baby but I blame my dad for that. I go out every chance I get and swim, go on our boat, play vollyball or just work on my tan. Nice to meet you, I'm Ashley but I'm sure you know that, Cody and my dad both speak highly of you.
i got to keep on dong that after august because i got to keep up the beach look just incase. i know who you are, i know mostly everyone in the WWE world. i wasn't in there for very long, but made a huge impact on it. it's been awhile since i talked to gold old chody wonder if hes still upset our one on one match never happened.
they can get that that when we drop something new! it was, but i was kind of expecting that? i wish i could tell you how i handle it, but i just basically go with the flow? i hope for the best and just wing it!
isn't that how all drops go though? shay has told me horror stories about her drops with her company. i for one don't do anything like that, but i am sure that it's super stressful.
this gives me the whole ken and his job is beach thing and it made me laugh some. is there things you miss from canada living in venice beach? i'll easily say, i love the beach and a good swim so when the water is warmer, maybe i could come hang with you?
baywatch is my job, so maybe a part of me is a ken, but at the sametime i am more then ken and i am keneough. i think everyone saw that movie and just don't like to admit it. i am commited to the show until filming is over in august, but you are more then will come to come to the set and hang around.
i'm with you on that. i couldn't agree more. i've been in too many shitty movies if i am honest but when the writing is good, the team is good. magic happens and not matter how small the budget is. it becomes into something loved by the audience. oh! i didn't know you divorced recently. it was not easy or friendly? how many kids do you have? moving and starting over again is scary but also really exciting, don't you think so?
suits la was that for me, i could not relate to the role and i could not make it work. i told everyone to blame me for it being cancelled. i loved the cast, but something about the story and the role just did not commute to me. i feel like for something to last you got to believe it will last. but then again you never know what speaks to some one. we wont be hosting any birthday parties together in the near future, but we did not show any dislike around our son and daughter. i have two kids. i have something to keep me going, but i wonder how i would feel if i did not have that.
oh my god. that's the hardest thing to act like you're not absolutely freezing when you are. when i did my sports illustrated swim shoot, even though we were in florida, it was eleven degrees that day so that's already not off to a great start. then i went in the water a little bit. damn near gave myself hypothermia to get the shot but it turned out perfectly. totally worth it. hey stephen, i'm olandria. nice to meet you. and this is apparently how i find out there's a new baywatch coming, congrats on the role. that's pretty epic.
at least we can relate with the original cast with that, they were always cold too. it gave us something to talk about when they were all filming with us. you want to know what else was hard? pretending i know all the old cast. i know who they played, but i am not the same person who played hobie, so i don't have all these memories. well you can say we can relate to each other with the whole cold water thing. thankfully we have first aid on set, so it will never get to that point. they always make sure we have jackets and towels and blankets when needed. i hope you had something like that when you did your shoot. its been on of my favourite roles that i have ever done. i know i already played a superhero, but i kind of feel like a super hero again.
Oh, what’s suits la? Is it another show? You’re gonna have to give me the run down on all these shows because I don’t get to watch much tv or movies these days. I’m trying to catch up but I’m a few years behind because when I’m on tour, I live and breathe that haha oooh Gwen Stefani?! Maybe some no doubt stuff would be cool haha imagine I pull out some opera or something? 😂
it was a tv show i used to be on. it lasted one season because i couldn't relate to the role i was playing and you could tell. it's fine because you win some and you loose some and it just wasn't meant to be. see you are going to do just fine. i would keep away form the opera people don't go to bars for that at all.
That's really nice. I love how things like that often end up turning into something positive. You already have one viewer in me—I’m seated. I think it's so much harder these days to make those long-running shows with multiple seasons and lots of episodes. Anyway... how are you doing? Besides work, how's life treating you?
you can have all the fanbase in the world, but if the acting and the writing is suppar your show has no chance. i know that baywatch was cancelled every year david put his own money into it and brought it back everytime. hopefully we don't have to do that. my divorce wasn't very cheap in the slightest. i am good, just bought a house and moving the kids and i into this weekend.

Look... I hate when projects get delayed for whatever reason it is, but when it finally happens. God! it just gets better and more exciting!! I am sure the nostalgia and the new generation will make the perfect mix to make out of this show a big hit! I am so ready to watch it. I need it in my life.
i mean it worked out in our favour. i think being pushed back was the best thing. we got better training and we got better scripts. we only have 12 episodes to put an impact on everyone, so it's super important that we do it right. i am pretty sure we wont get a 11 seasons, but more then one will be great. we would be extreamly lucky if we got over 11.

you should its going to be a good show. i have been eat, sleeping and breathing the beach. fox is putting a lot of money into the show, so they get me for as long as they want me. i don't really have time for anything else at this moment in time and that is the only way i want it.
Man, filming in water is the worst. I haven't done a show based on around water like you are, but I have done scenes where I have to be wet the whole time and it's not fun at all. I did a scene in Superman where I had to lay in freezing cold snow over and over and it was kind of the same deal. We could not get the take. It's nice to meet you, Stephen. I am David.
yeah it sucks, but you do what you do to make the show come alive. baywatch is about lifegaurds saving lifes and their love tringles. you can't save lifes at the beach if you don't jump into the ice water. you can't use stunt doubles because your cold. the orignals did it, so you need to do it too. i am form the snow and i don't think i could be able to lay in snow for long periods of time. i give you props for that one. nice to meet you david.

it's been a thing for awhile not, but we had to postpone because it took awhile to get our shit together. now its together and we are on the way to a winter premeire. it's going to be one hot january. i feel like it's going to be a freaking good time. it's fine really.

it's been a dream role that is for sure. he does play my dad yes, but we are not sure if hes going to be on the show this season at least. he just had a hip replacement, so it might be to soon for him to do anything. it's a series on fox. i am pretty sure they got the rest of this season planned, but if there is a second season.

i have done some on suits la and it was tearing up my heart by nysnc. it was a lot of fun. would i ever do it again more then likely no, but hobie is really in to music, so you never know. i can see you doing some gwen satfanfi. the best thing about the whole thing is you do songs you expect no one would expect form you.
it's summer and the water in venice beach is still cold. let me tell you its not easy to pretend that cold water does not effect you. i think that the water is the least favourite part of the job. i wouldn't change the job for anything though. i am stephen, i am form canada, but i live in venice beach. i am hobie in the the new baywatch.

it's never warm on LA, it's always cold maybe that is why people love it so much a great way to cool down. yeah it hits tv set early next year. filming has gone pretty well so far, i have been having a good time.
