Two Brats Enter One Brat Leaves -rp-
@famicidals
“I’m sorry, it must me your mother’s pussy you’re after.” Leo shrugged. “I wouldn’t know what my dads dick tastes like, thats more my sisters’ speed.” If his mother heard him talking about kaity like this for damn sure he’d be back in hell paying in blood and flesh for it but… he grinned, the look almost appearing feral.
“Honestly you seem like you’re kept in a tower anyway to have no fucking manners.”
A slight pressure from him - l e a v e - and the crowd that was gathering around them began to disperse, the people whispering among themselves; talks of people needing to do other things, others didn’t want to get in the crossfire, it didn’t matter to Leo.
He just wanted the spectators gone. He didn’t need more scrutiny in his life than what would come of verbally sparring with this upstart. He looked back to the other, name finally clicking into place.
“Right, you’re Vincent Magnolia.” He nodded in acknowledgment. “A shame you don’t live up to your family’s reputation.” Not that he was one to talk but Leo didn’t really care. He knew he was the family disappointment, meanwhile this boy still seems to think highly of himself and his abilities.
“Well if you’re here that must mean you have business.” Leo crossed his arms again. “Unless you want to waste more of my time, you can at least buy something. I suggest lavender or peppermint oil for the migraines your sight gives you.”
“Oh? Maybe you’re not as perceptive as you look. Anyone with half a brain can see I’m clearly made for taking dick, there are far better insults.” Vince snorts in disdain, and raises an eyebrow at the next sentence. “You sure she’s not following in your footsteps? It all has to come from somewhere.” He barks a laugh in rebuttal at the naivety, placing a palm flat on the table. “Unfortunately, unlike you, I was taught proper manners, I just choose to ignore them.” The pressure from Leo reaches Vince’s mind, and he narrows his eyes in suspicion, headache returning almost tenfold, but he stands his ground. He doesn’t need to leave at all. The jobs can wait. He is, however, grateful the crowds of people are slipping away– too many thoughts, at least this will alleviate the pain slightly. “Oh? Well forgive me, your highness, I wasn’t aware I had to be kept to a standard against the rest of my family. What are you going to do? Call my daddy and arrange for me to be locked up?” Vince near hisses, trying not to spit pure vitriol, but it’s so, so hard when both of them seem to be each other’s matches in the verbal sparring ring. “Mm… That is compelling…” As if on cue, his temples throb and he reaches out to touch the afflicted area before dropping his hand immediately. It seems his demeanour has changed, though. “How much? Is it ethically sourced? Are all of your materials to the highest standard? Were you aware that the percentage of deaths due to so called herbal remedies has risen by…” He’s rattling off a terrifying amount of facts about the topic. There he goes.
Leo looked Vince dead in the eye as he implied that the rape of his sister was in any way a desired effect, he couldnt feel the look of absolute hatred and malevolence coming from his eyes before it was tamped down. Leo instead semi-blocked the rest of his hot air out. There were several things he could put up with, someone insulting him, his work, hell even his family in a general sense.
Fucking no one stood before him and tell him that Kaity wanted to be raped. He watched blankly as Vince’s mouth continued to move as he spoke, not hearing him.
He could simply take this kids money and send him on his way, he seemed to react to the mental compulsion so hes easily suggestable. Or he could sell this kid the lavender oil, tail him and when hes relatively alone get the drop on him and beat him for his words.
Or he could just take him home and torture him.
Leo came back to himself long enough to realize the kid was still speaking - something about not being up to family standards and daddy locking him away - he had to crack a grin at that if this kid thought the worst that could happen to him was just being locked away.
He’s got a big storm coming.
How would he get this kid home though…?
This is not the time for a home invite, but maybe if he timed it right the mid would run out of the oil - obviously itll work for him he will make sure it does - and he only place hed be able to get it from is from leo hinself. He’ll make sure it works so perfectly that if he tries any one elses itll be just a poor sham.
His mouth was moving before he was aware of it, apparently the kid is asking questions about his products. “The oil is one silver piece, I home grow it so yes, it is ethically sourced, the resident lord has his own physicians sent to me when they need herbs for their own stores.” Physicians that happily take a little coin under the metaphorical table to keep his identity to themselves. “And I tell every person who comes to me, as I will with you, that my remedies are in no way comparable to an actual doctor, my remedies are good for keeping sickness at bay or relieving symptoms but are not the same as a doctor who can treat the source.”
Most herbal remedy deaths come from people who believe that this is better than an actual doctor, and while yes he could replicate many of the remedies theyd perscribe the difference is they are doctors and he just grows plants. Leo reached into the back and pulled out a pair of vials. “So, which shall it be, peppermint or lavender? I will admit the main difference between the two aside from the scent is mostly application, lavender works best as an aromatherapy treatment, peppermint works best as a topical treatment.” He paused a moment, looking this kid over wth a scrutinizing eye. “If I may make a suggestion, the lavender might work better for you.” He leaned on the table, placing both vials down beside his arm, looking up at the kid in front of him.
Hes going to look good in his basement with his skin flayed off.
Vince raises an eyebrow at the animosity arriving momentarily in the other's disposition, and knows his words struck a nerve-- just... He's now not entirely sure how or where that places him. Leo's a big boy, he can take it...? But all of a sudden, that animosity disappears and he's left pondering if the emotions he just felt were nothing more than a trick of his psyche.
The other hasn't said a word in response to him, so he supposes it's possible he's entirely done here. All he needed was directions, and he feels like he's sunk into a mire of what he can almost taste to be dangerous. But, he supposes, his life has never been fun without that feeling. So he finishes his rambling and allows the other to speak.
So. It's all... stuff he's "...heard before." He mumbles quietly, taking in Leo's words and finding no worth in them whatsoever. "I'm aware remedies are merely plants, and will never compare up to what a real doctor prescribes in order to treat something. What I have is hardly fixable, and any noble knows not to trust whatever he buys in a simple market, so..." Vince draws himself up to his full height, and leans over the table, making direct eye contact and blinking slowly. He almost forgot, and that's truly... truly... terrible of him. Claude's disappearance is mere proof of his brain going sour, and his mood rottens in an instant. "Tell me what you really want. You going to tell me a little princeling like you needs money? Don't make me laugh." When he finds Claude, he is going to skin him for allowing him to become like this.
