What a year…

2021 has been quite the year. Much like any other year, it came with its highs and lows.

In 2021, had a couple serious medical procedures. Feeling grateful to be on the other side of that, with my health feeling more stabilized. I’m grateful for the small support system I have that held me down through it and made sure I was well taken care of.

In 2021, I celebrated my 30th year on this earth and felt content saying goodbye to my 20s with more insight on my journey and my growth as a person just trying to be a better version of myself each day.

In 2021, I connected with my family in more loving ways and have grown so much closer to them. This global pandemic allowed me to see just how family oriented I really am.

In 2021, I was pleasantly surprised to meet someone who reignited romantic connection for me and introduced me to the brand new world of parenthood. I am challenged everyday, but grateful for the lessons in love in this new experience.

And of course 2021 couldn’t end without COVID fucking some shit up! As much as I fended it off, it got me. I tested positive for COVID and spent New Years in isolation. Despite that ending, I’m entering 2022 with so much love in my heart and a curiosity for this ever winding journey of life.
