You woke up in the middle of the night because you heard Dog bark downstairs. Snapping your eyes open you looked around the bedroom, the clock on 3:47 am. Rubbing your hands over your eyes you sat up in bed. You activated the security system before you went to bed, so it had to be John. He had been gone for a week, away for his job, leaving you alone in the house you were living with him.
