" is a direct quote in response to them finding out about the miscarriage and Stella's knee-jerk reaction being to apologize to her husband because again their world had shattered with the news that them starting their family was out of reach and she carried that weight, responsibility and shouldered the blame.

Yet 6 episodes in and their showrunner has refused to allow them or the writers to actually SHOW us the actions behind the words coming out of Kelly's mouth. We're in this together unless it's time to navigate one of the hardest setbacks they've faced as a married couple since S12? Which in that case we're actually just ignoring the elephant in the room and hoping the fans just go along with it. Hmmm 🙂

The Isaiah storyline is not providing us with any new or revolutionary information/ lore about them as individuals or collectively as a couple because WE'VE SEEN THIS ALL BEFORE!

We know Kelly connects well with kids/ teens because it's been woven into the fabric of this show since the inception. We know Stella goes to the mat for those she loves but also for those she barely knows aka the "underdogs" because it's been layered into her character makeup from the moment she entered 51. We KNOW she's a selfless/saint that will stop at nothing to do right by and advocate for those who can't advocate for themselves. hello she was married to Grant for goodness sake.

So in the grand scheme of it all. Take the emotional element of you wanting to see Stellaride as parents out for 2.5 seconds what is being gained here REALLY? Have you learned anything new other than Stella saw the bulls game live?

I am not ok with nor will I ever be ok with that opening scene unfolding the way it does and it just NOT being addressed again canonically. Interviews isn't canon material. CLEARLY.

Interviews are supposed to be a deeper look into what we saw CANONICALLY unfold on the show. Not be used to fill the gaps of your lazy vision or writing. So expecting us or Stellaride to get closure or find solace in the terrible setback you put them through just because you gave a bunch of out of touch interviews is CRAZY work.

It's canon that one month passed since the initial news was delivered correct? So it's safe to say it's been a minimum of two months but likely longer since the miscarriage while this couple and this fandom have absolutely no closure to the loss experienced.

I rather see angst filled tension then this surface level cookie cutter ass bs that has been shown so far because at least we can see that they're feeling SOMETHING and it's just presenting itself this way because they're struggling with all these big emotions and feelings. Because let's be honest here. The moment Isaiah is gone and the loft is quiet again and Stella's thoughts start to fill the silence and the extra shifts at Mollys or at the FH can't save her anymore well then what!? The moment a parent asks her if she has kids then WHAT? The moment she sees a mom with her child a dad playing with his THEN WHAT?

How many face drops? How many cracks in her spirit? How much is it going to take before we actually get to see them be in their shared grief, anger and disappointment together every step of the way?

you wanna know what really sucks so fucking much about all of this?? it’s that school and work are kicking my ass right now, the world is falling apart, and now i don’t even have chicago fire to give me just a little bit of joy. like this show has been such a positive thing in my life the past 3 1/2 years and now that’s just gone. i used to live for wednesdays and now they’re literally just another day. am i still intrigued by the storylines? yeah. but i’m not excited about them at all and that’s what really hits hard

Andrea Newman deserves to lose her job as writer and show runner for Chicago Fire.

hey guys! I know i’m not too active on here but I wanted to make this post to share the petition I have started to get Andrew Newman removed from Chicago Fire. If you guys could just take a minute to read the description below, it would mean the world. us as fans deserve to be treated with respect, not laughed at and played constantly by a woman who thinks she’s a god. not only did she laugh while talking about miscarriage, she has continued to bait stellaride fans for the past year. we deserve better, stellaride deserves better. and we deserve to be heard.

Get Andrew Newman Fired from Chicago Fire

Last season, Stellaride fans were unfairly tricked into thinking Stella and Kelly were pregnant with their first baby. After suffering through a season of bad storylines and our favorite characters continuously getting hurt, we were finally granted with everything we wanted. A Stellaride pregnancy. But in the first 30 seconds of season 14 episode 1, after 5 months of hope, excitement and all the emotions, everything we wanted was shattered in seconds. We were baited into returning for this season, and after the episode aired, interviews with Andrea released and she was proud at the fact she’d lied to all the Stellaride fans. The way our beloved characters were written for this episode was horrible and unlike them, and she had the audacity to claim that Stella was “relieved” after just losing her baby. Her comments have been so insensitive to people who have lost babies - she smiled and laughed when talking about a character having a miscarriage, and it was straight up lies, as if anybody watched the episode, you’d see how unrelieved both Stella and Kelly were at the loss of their pregnancy. 

Stellaride fans have been waiting years for the moment we received in the season 13 finale and we are all extremely upset and angry that Andrea has taken this away from us because she thinks it’s funny to bait and upset the people who keep her show afloat.

She doesn’t deserve to be in the position she is in, and action by NBC, Dick Wolf and any producer above her needs to be taken. 

How would they feel knowing she purposely lies and baits the fans of the show?

It’s time to get somebody new in to stop these ridiculous adoption storylines that have taken place at least 4 times in this show, and to have somebody who appreciates the fans, and the actors too.
