remember in p.e. when they'd take a bunch of insecure teenagers & be like "today we're going to play basketball" and then not teach you how to play basketball. and then put you in a group with guys who were obsessed with basketball and would get mad at you for not knowing how to play basketball. why did they do that

I’m sorry but in a book series that’s overtly homophobic at points Monica’s storyline pointedly ends with her in a loving and happy partnership- she literally lives happily ever after with Dane Edith and her labradors! And her children accept her- her friends accept her!! She gets a happily ever after- and the tv show kills her minutes after it’s only implied she likes women

Are you fucking kidding me. It’s an even more egregious instance of bury your gays when the gay couple Gerald and Charles have got so much airtime and Monica gets an implied past and then DEATH

thinking about how the mid ‘00s really gave us two great hospital-based comedies with green wing and garth marenghi’s darkplace

#I generally don’t watch medical shows bc of my health anxiety #so this is about the extent of my hospital-based viewing #since almost no actual medicine takes place in either of these…#green wing #garth marenghi's darkplace #tv #also why did they leave boyce out of that first promo shot!

i'm about a quarter into the finale special of green wing and i truly have no idea how this is going to pan out (well, apart from some things that have been spoiled)

i'm pretty sure i never saw this finale the first time round bc whenever i thought of green wing i always thought about that 1 mac scene in the s2 finale and was like 'well how did that pan out?' i don't think i knew the special existed
