• He’s got three cats called Sal, Mia and Kki (they are named after his favourite liqueur). Sal has black fur, Mias is white and Kki has white fur with black and brown spots in it. They all have bright blue eyes and they’re very smol.
• He’s thinking about adopting another cat but he fears that the three he has could get jealous and nobody wants that
• He’s very protective over his cats and doesn’t trust that many people to be around them.
• He’s been married to Hizashi for a long time already
• The two of them got together at the end of their second year at UA after going out on dates for quite a while before
• Shouta likes to invite students for a talk in his office when he notices they’re struggling with their sexuality and/or identity. He tries to help them as much as he can, gives them tips, tells them everything’s going to be fine and supports them no matter what
• When Shouta gives detention he actually uses the time to sleep while he puts on a movie for the kids. But he’s made a deal with everyone having detention with him that they are not allowed to talk about what they actually did. They always have to come up with a story of how terrible it was so the others fear to get detention
• Because Shouta’s an insomniac he always tries to find sleep whenever and wherever he can. That’s why he almost always brings his sleeping bag with him. He knows sleep deprivation will strain his eyes further and makes him ineffective so he still tries his best to get some sleep. It’s not so much for his own sake but for his works.
• When it comes to one of the few occasions Shouta actually joins Hizashi in bed the thing that seems to work most against his insomnia is when Hizashi absentmindedly brushes his fingers through Shoutas hair
• Shouta didn’t have the easiest childhood. He had an abusive father and a mother who was too afraid to do anything about it but he never blamed her. He was strong, even though it hurt but he kept going and eventually went into foster care together with his older sister until he finished school and started living with Hizashi
• He never really told anyone about his feelings in that time. Not even Hizashi knows all about it because Shouta thinks it’s better to close that stuff off and not dwelve in the past so much
• Shouta also had a time during his years at UA where he didn’t really know if he could or should become a proper hero. After all his quirk didn’t actually involve any physical power and it could be difficult to fight in hand to hand combat. So he started learning several martial arts techniques and found a new passion in that. He just didn’t want to be a mere bystander in the fight against villains.
• He’s really observant and often realises stuff before the people it actually concerns realise it (like for example when two people have a crush on each other and don’t want to admit it or something)
• He and Hizashi adopted Hitoshi when Shouta’s sister along with her husband died in a car crash leaving behind a baby boy
• Shouta always made sure to let Hitoshi know who his parents were but Hitoshi actually never really got to know his parents, that’s why he sees Shouta and Hizashi as his parents and even calls them his dads
• Shouta often trains with Hitoshi and teaches him martial arts because Hitoshis quirk is also not really a physical one and he wants him to be ready when he needs to fight hand to hand combat
• Even though he almost never shows it Shouta deeply cares for the people who he’s close with. He’d always make sure they were okay before taking care of himself
• He doesn’t like it when others worry about him. He doesn’t really see a need for worries so he just kinda wants to shut them off
• Shouta doesn’t really do much after work. When he gets home he mostly just plays with the cats or trains a bit when he feels like it. Sometimes he gets dragged along by Hizashi to one of his radio shows but otherwise he really doesn’t do much in his spare time
