Somehow came out of fangirl hiatus for the first time in YEARS because I watched ONE NETFLIX MOVIE and then my fyp flooded with kpop and now I’m so far up Stray Kids’ assholes I can see what they had for breakfast which deadass hasn’t happened to me since 1D/5SOS and I ended up back on this hellsite but hey its good to be back bitches.

it's so wild to me that you absolutely cannot force a hyperfixation to happen. like you'll watch the most perfectly tailor-made-for-you content that everyone says you'll love and feel absolutely nothing, and then the thing you watch on a whim to fill time will reach through the screen and put its damn fingers in your brain and start rearranging the neurons right in front of you and every single time you're like THIS??? THIS??????? and this happens like every 6-12 months forever

one moment that i thought was such a good addition from when i watched a bootleg of the donmar production is when gabe is mocking doctor madden's suggestion of hypnosis by laughing and tauntingly walking down the stairs. but when it actually starts to work, gabe falls back into the shadows after stepping into the lighted part of the stage, which almost seems to represent dianas mind. then the camera cuts to gabe and he looks fucking devastated and scared and in tears at the prospect that she might be trying to get rid of him. he falls on the floor when dan tries to tell diana that he's not here and starts crawling around, showing how he still has that needy immature mentality of a toddler even though he is shown to be older. then he starts to beg diana to not let him go by attaching himself to her legs wanting to be held. his little "mom?" at the end when doctor madden suggests to diana that she should clear out his things and him looking lost in the dark while everyone starts to clear out the bottom stage fucking pulls on my heartstrings. this entire scene is so heartbreaking.

also the cut to gabe looking desperate when doctor madden says "your grief for your son" and the cut to natalie breaking down at her piano performance when he says "your distance from natalie" is just chefs kiss. it's perfect. the poor goodman siblings are going through it and it's so well presented.
