YAHOO YIPPEE HERE ARE SOME OF THEM!!
All of my ocs are part of a larger narrative that would take a very long time to explain, but the overview is that a highly infectious zombie outbreak occurred and overwhelmed the world in a matter of days. All major cities were walled in to contain the infection and survivors inside were only given minimal rations by soldiers stationed within. Two years into the outbreak, a massive fire devastated the centre of one of these cities, sending the soldiers fleeing and the survivors left inside to fend for themselves
Dove Taylor was 19 years old when the outbreak began, and after the death of both of her parents, she became the sole protector for her younger sister Nova. She has always been a very timid, anxious person, her natural instinct always flight over fight. Though the pair lived on the outskirts of the city, they would often venture further in to for food, clothes and other necessary survival items in the secret trading markets that were starting up. One of these very days was when the fire began, and while fleeing, Dove lost Nova in the blaze, unable to save her. This sent Dove into a deep depression that lasted for the next six years, only operating on the most basic survival instincts. She was always hungry, always lethargic, always reliving the night she lost her sister, until she was discovered by Fallon Moore.
After joining Fallonโs group of survivors, Dove was given a place to stay, food, water and warmth, as well as community. She still remained anxious, frequently experiencing awful nightmares of losing her sister. However, she slowly gained belief in herself, realising her own strength for the first time in her life as she continued on through life with powerful resilience.
Fallon grew up as a troubled teen and became and even more troubled adult. After giving birth to her daughter Ruby at 19, Fallon became intensely obsessed with her baby girl, dropping out of college and cutting contact with her parents, believing that Ruby needed no one besides her, and that her daughter was the only person on earth who deserved to be alive. When the outbreak occurred, not much changed for the pair, as Fallon never allowed Ruby to leave her sight even before the zombies appeared. She became even more over protective of her child, killing anyone else who dared to live in the same building that they were hiding out in, and refusing to even explain to Ruby the reality of what was happening or how much time was passing.
When the fire happened, Fallon was in the centre of the city. She narrowly escaped with Ruby, though both were covered in burns. When flames died down, Fallon gathered the survivors that she could find into a giant, empty warehouse. This eventually formed into a group of survivors, taking on the name โThe Falconsโ, who liked to Fallon as a leader. She remained a fierce, stern and aggressive leader, and still kept Ruby locked away from everyone.
Rubyโs perception of the entire world is completely skewed by her motherโs deception. She has no comprehension of the scale of damage that the zombies have done to the world, or even of how much time has passed, believing herself to be 16 years old in a world that will be back to normal any day now. Her development has been severely stunted, making her speak and behave as somebody much younger than she is.
Though the worldโs situation is dire, Ruby still has big ambitions. She wants to be a world famous fashion designer, and she spends her days drawing her own designs and sewing and embroidering on her own clothes, as well as mending her motherโs. She is kept away from everyone else in The Falcons, meaning she only has her mother for company. Ruby doesnโt mind. Itโs always been this way.
Though Ruby is a naively optimistic girl, she has her motherโs short temper buried deep down, and has only ever been shown violence as a response to a slight. If something ever were to happen, Ruby may fall down the same path
Morgan Mallory was a firefighter and personal self defence trainer before the world was overrun by zombies. After the outbreak, she soon became a bodyguard of sorts for the leaders of the secret trading markets, on one occasion getting into a physical altercation with Fallon. However, after the fire, in which Morgan was severely burned while trying to help people, she found Fallon again. Morgan provided aid to the survivors she had taken in, developing a sense of admiration for Fallon and how much she cared for her daughter. The two eventually developed a very intense relationship. Morgan is the only person that Fallon can ever be vulnerable around.
Morgan is Fallonโs closest partner in both the running of her group and romantically, and is the only other person allowed near Ruby. She is Fallonโs right hand woman, though she is much kinder and more trusting than her appearance suggests to many. She has trained many of the younger members of The Falcons to defend themselves, though Fallon oddly seemed opposed to Ruby or Dove ever being taught anything.
Leaving out many details and several characters but these are some of the key players
