I used to never make these. My life was always so dull and boring, well this year I KNOW that these next 4 months are going to be tough with finishing school, externing, and trying to find a new job; but it will all be worthit by the end of the year when I have enough money saved up for a car and…
WOW. I have done two of these. I’m still working towards getting a car, but the more dates thing worked out. I have an amazing boyfriend who loves me even when i’m sick and disgusting (Like the last two days).
Do something to make my parents proud of me? Yes. At first it seemed as if they were pissed off with me. because they were. they were disappointed in me, but moving out was the best decision i have ever made. I was just talking with my Dad about this a couple of weeks ago. We were having coffee and he said “I can tell you’re happy with your life” because i am. I finally get to work for what i want and i love that. They havent said that they are proud of me, but i can tell that they kind of are. Which is a good feeling :) All in all, 2014 was a good, no Great year. I wouldn’t change anything, not even the bad stuff because it’s all coming together to make something great. So, my resolutions for 2015:
1) Get a car
2) Do great things
3) Read more books
4) Never forget what/who brought me to where i am right now
Is everyone else terrible at new year resolutions? First of all, my amazing boyfriend and I (it's almost been 2 years with him) have moved into our own place. No, my parents aren't proud of me, but they can suck it. We have cats, but no car. Becuase why need a car when you live less than a mile away from almost everything? Nothing ever goes as planned :)

Almost two years ago I was working at a restaurant that I thought would lead me into bigger and better things, career wise. I was a server, mostly, and loved my job. My boss hired a couple of new people and I have to say. I'm really glad he did. There was a guy that I thought was absolutely handsome that I was working with. He wasn't at all aware of how handsome he was (and still doesn't). His looks were just a bonus, though. He was smart, funny, kind, caring, and had quite the attitude. I loved him. I would tell myself that the good ones are always taken. A couple of weeks after being hired he asked me out. He says that it turned bright red and ran out of there so quick after saying yes. My story is that I had to catch the bus to be able to get home on time. I know I turned red, though. Anyway, 2 years later we are moved into our own apartment, planning to get a cat and have this beautiful bamboo plant that I'm surprised I kept alive. I'm not good at writing anymore and can't concentrate on this. I'm so in love with this guy and I know he loves me just as much. Probably even more. It's funny the weird turns that life can take :)

I once had a boyfriend who would get mad at me for eating. Even if it was all I had eaten the whole day. So what did I do? I stuffed my face in front of him just to show him that he can’t fucking control me. That’s how that relationship ended :)

honestly fuck what job you have. if you print shit at staples, if you flip burgers, if you clean the mall toilets, if you work in the mailroom you deserve a living wage. $15 an hour isn’t even that, but it’s better than $8-10. people are essentially arguing that a person doesn’t deserve to make ends meet because they wipe down tables at McDonalds.
People seem to forget your little office job can easily lay you off and it could be them working at McDonald’s trying to make ends meet. Smh
People aren’t saying you don’t deserve to make ends meet. What people are trying to say is that this is going to fuck everyone over in the long run. Most prices are legitimately based off of what the majority of a community makes. You raise thst wage, the prices rise. It’s never going to get better.

So, please tell my why I live in a town where the majority of the people who live here are Microsoft employees and a gallon of milk is 3.50, but when I go 10 miles down the road to a different town, same chain store a gallon of milk is 2.00. Because PRICES ARE BASED OFF OF THE AVERAGE INCOME OF THE AREA.
