Finally started watching Soul Eater and Black☆Star is definitely my fave character so far, he’s so fun!!

im actually so fucking mad that in the end the chardee hookup is framed like dee raped charlie because a part of me thinks it's good to showcase male sa but on the other oh my god. that entire episode is about what happens when the gang splits up and in particular how dee and charlie finally feel free from being seen as The Dumbass and The Girl of the group and they can lay off their costant pressure and feel like themselves. not only that but they just instinctively follow each other because when paired together they feel reassured and NORMAL because out of all the people in the group they're the ones with less history (dennis and mac tie them together) so it's easier for them to feel comfortable. like I don't know if they were trying to showcase that charlie is incapable of seeing any relationship as healthy because of his sexual trauma (may explain why he doesn't want the waitress anymore after they have sex) and that he needs to degrade Dee in front of the gang so he can feel included and make her the butt of the joke but why are you telling me he got molested after showing me a solid scene where not only he's the one initiating the kiss but also he's the one reaching for her again after they think they should stop. that's an awful way to frame it honestly and i just don't get it at all

Finally watched “The gang carries a corpse up a mountain” and my dad literally spent 4 minutes straight not shutting up about how — not only did Charlie not age a day— but that Dennis looked ancient, looked older than Frank, looked so so old, looked unnaturally old, looked like a different person, like he had aged 75 years in 10 years… this went on for 4 minutes, people. I started crying.
