Ok but assuming this photo is real, this woman in 1896 took the time and effort to make this outfit and then walked around what looks like a college campus as a living, breathing shitpost for the sake of mocking contemporary fashion trends. We stan a queen.

It’s an ordinary blouse for the era, she just has her harms up in kinda a strongman pose to prove a point (you can see her elbows in the outside of the sleeves just below shoulder height, and the curve of her wrists and hands beside her chin).

I’d bet money she had a photographer friend hanging around who thought this was hilarious and convinced her to hold the pose for a picture.

I am greatly disappointed that there is no a superhero au where Virgil is just a reporter. No villain stuff or powers, he’s just a tired reporter trying to earn a few bucks. He just so happens to be friends with the heroes/villains/vigilantes when they’re out of costumes.
