Do you think you could give us advice on how to make people love and have interest in your ocs. You have successfully created a fandom and its something a lot of us strive for, whatss your secret and how do you go on? And how do you keep making comics, im so worried about perfection being constant in my panels.

I heard this in a video somewhere before I started my channel and comic and it was basically like āBe your OCs fandom.ā
It might just be really good luck that pushed my work into the spotlight but I did act like my comic just had a fandom, iād talk about them in a way that I sometimes saw fans from other media would talk about them, Iād make things other than comics of them, Iād literally just shove my characters down EVERYONES throats by putting them in everything I did!
With the hopes that eventually some people would get curious and try and look for more about them and begin to feel the same way about them that I do them!
And you know what that plan worked! Because some wonderful folk actually went to check out Erondelle and the rest of my content!
I guess my advice at the end of the day for how to build the community for your project is that you gotta BE the community LMFAO
On how I continue making comics is a different story though, theres some days where I just donāt feel like working on them (or am stopped by a repetitive strain injury grrr) but then I remember that there are people who are genuinely invested in my silly little comic and thatās what pushes me to keep going with it!
On those days I donāt really work on my comic for myself as much as I work on it for the people who have expectations of me. That and I just really like my story and want to see it come to fruition HAHSHA.
Also perfectionism is so real I have to constantly have people tell me that the weird looking stair in the back is NOT as important as I think it is, and theyāre right! (Because it gets covered by a speech bubble in the end and I just wasted 6 hours of my lifeā¦)
I kind of had to just learn when to give up and just let things be which is harder than I thought. Though if it gives you any comfort 90% of big comics tend to have TEAMS behind them and you shouldnāt expect something of yourself thatās made by a group of people!
AGHH iām not the greatest at giving advice but I hope you got something out of this little ramble! Youāre doing amazing and the only thing you should worry about is if youāre having fun or not <333
