The anon period for @mcytbattleship is over!! Which means! I can post the art I did for it! I am a slow, slow artist and only ever ended up finishing one piece, but I am quite proud of it so I am happy to show it here!
The idea is that Legs and Owen somehow survive the events of Oakhurst and go traveling to see the world. Legs takes Owen to see the ocean specifically, and given that the only bodies of water Owen has ever seen are the lakes and rivers of Oakhurst, I imagine he'd be very excited by the sound and smell and, of course, the gorgeous view!

Wet Cat? No, you Misheard me, I Said Wet *Bat* (Legundo/OwengejuiceTV, when Owen is injured in a storm and stuck in bat form he seeks out the doctor who is, of course, more than willing to help, though not without a few snide comments on both sides)
A Good Fight is Like Chess, or Perhaps a Dance (Legundo/ZombieCleo, Legundo/OwengejuiceTV, Pearlescentmoon/ZombieCleo, Pearlescentmoon & OwengejuiceTV; a year after the events of Oakhurst and the doc isn't taking care of himself so Cleo proposes a wager: if they can beat Legundo in a game of chess then the four of them leave their recovering town for a holiday, meanwhile Pearl and Owen spar)
Two Hands of a Broken Clock (Legundo/OwengejuiceTV, in which Legundo and Owen are stuck in a timeloop of Oakhurst, Legundo recently figured out that Owen is also looping, Owen is about to figure out Legundo is also looping, surely this will end with a perfectly civil conversation?)

So while watching Legs’ pov for the first time and he claimed to be a vampire in front of the town, I was frankly astounded that nobody called his bluff, and thus this au (tentatively named ‘one question’) was born:
What if the townsfolk asked questions, what if they asked specifically one (important) question: who turned you? Legundo panics briefly, and he has to choose the right vampire here- one who would be willing to go along with his plan to get the vampires and town working better with each other, one who isn’t hostile or at risk of telling Scott: Owen. The townsfolk take this and assume that it was forced, and Legundo immediately backtracks (getting the town hating on Owen is really really not part of the plan) and says it was consensual.
He says he asked for this, and the reasons he gives? The same reasons Owen tried to use to convince him to turn just a couple of episodes prior: “I can help so many people, save so many lives, cure the incurable”. The town buys this, a little wary but they *trust* doc. Owen is, of course, invisibly listening in to this conversation.
He’s struck by an intense *yearning* because this is how it genuinely could be, Legs a vampire, willingly, because of him, to help people, but… he knows it isn’t real. So he does what any completely sane and rational vampire does, he asks Legs to meet him in the woods, claiming he needs another drink and doesn’t trust anyone else for it. And then he turns Legundo.
The dialogue in the comic I wrote when first coming up with this idea, but the au extends past it, because Owen now has *leverage* over Legs: Legundo can’t tell the town what happened because even if they believe him, he’ll lose all their trust because he lied to them! He doesn’t want to go to the coven vamps, can’t tell the town, and Owen is his sire- however much or little that means it’s still a fact.
So yeah I promptly went insane and drew a comic to my own dialogue, I’ve never written either of them before but here we are! :D

Hey did you know that Owen and Legundo's death positions sort of kind of face each other? I made a mini map to show it off a while back! I wanted to draw something based off of it for a while and I wanted to contribute at least ONE more thing to bloodletting week... I sadly wasn't able to get it done in time, but two days late is better than never!
Well I haven’t posted anything in a frighteningly long time but I recently watched vampires smp and well- these two put me in a chokehold. That goddamn quote I swear to god I need to shake Owen for turning Legs’ oath against him in the worst possible way was incredible; so hey!! Have some of the Them!!
