Okay so here's my vague prediction for AMC Fareed & Seth, adapted from how they meet in the books:

At some point, Fareed is going to "die" and that'll be the end of Fareed's story. For now. Then, in a future season it'll be revealed that he DIDN'T die and he was actually turned by an ancient vampire (SETH!!). And ever since, he and Seth have been developing and refining their medical research facility for vampires.

And maybe that's why during the auction, Armand and Louis are still missing body parts-- because the doctor who knows how to fix that problem is thought to be dead. (Fareed canonically knows how to replace vampire body parts in the books. That doesn't necessarily mean that AMC Fareed also knows, but I wouldn't count it out. He's clearly very knowledgeable about vampires) And then, in the future, when Fareed pops up again in his lab, he'll be able to help them with that

When Seth meets up with other ancient vampires, he makes sure to have them give their blood to Fareed. AND on top of all that, Fareed has his maker's unconditional love and affection and the security to know that his maker will never ditch him. He doesn't have to worry about going into hiding to protect himself because he is virtually indestructible as long as Seth is by his side and Seth is ALWAYS by his side.

the pronouns thing really bothered me :/ like why add that. it just feels mean. why shit on your trans fans? its not even a funny joke at all its literally just a little sprinkle of transphobia to add to your extremely gay show with an overwhelmingly queer audience. but i hate that its bothering me so much i just want to enjoy the rest of the incredible episode.

If they wanted to do "haha hehe these vampires are out of touch with modern society" there are ways to do it without having multiple vampires misgender somebody. And it pisses me off even MORE to see it in an adaptation of Anne Rice's work when a very strong theme in her books (particularly in tvl) is that vampirism is by its very nature something that breaks down the gender binary and exists outside of that. Her vampires are literally nonbinary!!!

Also just weird as fuck to include in a show that proclaims to be for a queer audience. I want to remain hopeful that it's something that will be addressed later but like. For what? I don't need to see Lestat's journey towards accepting trans people.
