I JUST discovered that you’re the same person as tomwaterbabies, I’ve been separately following both for years and getting excited whenever either one posts and going ‘wow, these are some cool people!’ And I never once realized they’re the same person until just now

nuru!!! i wanted to try my hand at doing a full render of her and all that. one difference to her canon art being that she has textured hair because… well it makes more sense! nuru’s name means ‘light’ in Swahili, it fits her so well ⭐️

i want to do more with her, specifically tweaking her design a little bit so that there is actually african influence (specifically eastern africa) but i think i need to do more research and sketch studies into that, so here’s just this for now!
