i know folks are gonna call me a pedo for this one, but i grew up seeing my mom and grandma naked. they had health issues and at times needed care and help showering. and i truly think more kids need to be shown the nonsexual reality of naked women at a young age. there is nothing sexual about my grandmothers breasts, they were simply body parts. more women die of heart attacks because people are too afraid of breasts to do real chest compressions, because they are scared to touch their breasts. the sexualization of our bodies literally kills us. i need people to be more normal about naked bodies and i'm 100% serious.
I bring a real 'actually people who are pregnant do deserve some special consideration because they are effectively at least temporarily disabled if not permanently after some complications' vibe to the party that a lot of people don't seem to like
Pregnant women are growing an entire extra set of bones.
Consideration is the least we can do for them.
thank you to weird girls for being online
btw it's so fucking stupid you can be anxious physically in your body even after you've decided mentally you don't care. I'm supposed to be in charge here
Imagine if we did the “public libraries are punk” thing for other subcultures. Imagine if people made shirts that said “Soup kitchens are grunge” or “Mixed Use Urbanism is Juggalo”.
There's a recurring online tendency to aestheticize consensus itself. The imagined future village is full of emotionally compatible people who enjoy communal gardening, conflict resolution circles, acoustic folk music, mutual aid potlucks, and repairing bicycles together at sunset. Which is nice for the people who genuinely enjoy that lifestyle. But plenty of humans are solitary, prickly, obsessive, urban, nocturnal, sensory-seeking, technologically attached, contrarian, novelty-seeking, private, or just plain difficult. Those people do not evaporate after the revolution. They do not get Left Behind while you are Raptured into the Utopia. They become your neighbors.
Utopia literally means no place.
We use it to describe theoretically "perfect" societies, while understanding no place could ever actually achieve it.
Humans and human society are too diverse and complicated.
Fight for a better world, but remember that better means different things for different folks.
Kinda wild how radfems often feel guilty for really basic things like centering women in feminism and not thinking men are women, while tons of TIMs never feel a single ounce of guilt for speaking over female people and for having rape, pedophilia and incest fantasies. In fact, they feel morally superior because of these
You should be starting a recipe book. I don't give a shit if you're only 20-years-old. The modern web is rotting away bit by bit before our very eyes. You have no idea when that indie mom blog is going down or when Pinterest will remove that recipe. Copy it down in a notebook, physically or digitally. Save it somewhere only you can remove it. Trust me, looking for a recipe only to find out it's been wiped off the internet is so fucking sad. I've learned my lesson one too many times.

Left wing men say it's right wing men
Right wing men say it's left wing men
Muslim men say it's Christian men

Poor men say it's billionare men
Billionaire men say it's poor men
Gay men say it's straight men
Straight men say it's gay men
What's the common denominator? Are you noticing a pattern here?
