The Segway Max G3 has EVERYTHING I am looking for in a scooter

I am in the market for a new scooter and I am OBSESSED with the new Segway Max G3, and I literally cannot wait for it to open up to pre ordering on the 6th.

My trusty Max G2 has been with me for quite some time now, but let's be real. She's starting to show her age at this point, so I believe an upgrade is the near future, sorry Betty. Been experiencing some of those notorious G2 model issues that every rider knows about. Weird vibrations, battery acting sus, you know the drill.

But the new G3 looks like my next one

After diving deep into some preview content (shoutout to my googling skills for finding this early analysis), I'm low-key 100% certain this will be my next ride. The specs look AMAZING, and I'm ready to level up my electric scooter game. Not only does the specs and more power sound fantastic, but the design and better suspension combined with larger tires will make any Bali bumpy road a breeze.

Can't wait to trade in my sluggish G2 for this beauty. 2025 Mobility goals, am I right?

Long time no see

Here we are, dear old friend.

Its been quite the journey but im finally back in my home town in the US for a little bit. We jumped past Covid and all the other crazy stuff that happened and I say we start where we left off.

The latest from Segway, Ninebot ES Max

Segway has had a bumpy ride when it comes to finding the right audience for their old Segway scooters. Since about two years though their business has been flourishing and there are little that points to a negative downtrend in the foreseeable future. No, on the other hand they have just launched their third and latest electric scooter model called the ES Max. First batch has already been shipped to customers and another batch are in the making. I finally did put in an order myself and are now just waiting for production to take off so I can get it.

Hopefully its going to go fast because after reading how much better the Max is in comparison to the other similar looking but not close enough performing Xiaomi m365 Pro I can hardly wait to get my hands on it.

Read a comparison between the two here and that really was the last nail in the coffin for me.

The performance in terms of distance and torque is supposed to be much better than its predecessors which had still good performance but the price was just way over the top for what it offered. Luckily i got this on for less than the Segway ES4 which is strange. I don’t know how they’ve thought there but I don’t mind it .

Will update you guys as soon as I have a date on when its expected to get delivered.
