I think that Lando and Oscar irl probably aren’t even friends. they just tolerate the other’s presence because they have too.
but, their dynamic and potential is amazing. so, yes, i make up fictional scenarios and stories where they do more then tolerate each other’s presence. however, i literally separate the Lando and Oscar i have in my head from the real ones. they are just completely different people to me, because i know that everything in my head is just that. in my head.

i'm writing a fic where both Max and Charles are promo actors. however, Charles mostly gets cast for sexual ads. Max for ads where there's more of a storyline.
then they get cast together for the same commercial.
it's a rivals to lovers (even though they're not really rivals?? it's more of a dislike ig), lots of banter and tension

So, basically, how to get attuned to Max.
A loud creak of the trailer’s door opening fills the silence.
“Yes, thank you so much for showing me the way!” Charles says to someone, throwing a smile at them before he fully steps into the trailer.Â
“Leclerc! Max informed me you’d be coming by. Don’t worry, I’m almost done.” He moves to put a different kind of powder on Max’s face.
Charles waves his hand. “Oh, please. Charles. And no need to hurry.” It’s accompanied by his signature smile and wink.Â
Max frowns at the blush he sees creeping up on his make-up artist’s cheeks through the mirror.Â
The smile and wink is a combination Max has seen numerous times when knee-deep into Charles content during some embarrassing nights.Â
His frown deepens with the knowledge that that also looks better in real life.Â
Seriously, is there anything that Charles can do that doesn’t make him look good?
“You’re awfully nice. Don’t think I was welcomed like that, was I, Leclerc?” It’s not a question, but an accusation.Â
Their eyes meet through the mirror.
“Is that so, Verstappen?”
Max tries to hold the fierce eye contact, but then his make-up artist says he needs to close his eyes so the make-up doesn’t harm him and it goes to shit.

Lando shakes his head and catches a glimpse of his phone charger that he’d been searching for the entire weekend.
He picks it up. “This is my charger.”
Then Lando takes a good look around the room and realises just how much in the room is actually Lando’s.
I was talking to a very straight guy who likes cars about F1, so I was expecting it be only about strategies and the mechanical side but OUT OF NOWHERE he suddenly says AND I QUOTE:
"That child from Max Verstappen has come out of Charles' body."
