My body is revolting against me

Ran 7 miles at 6:20 pace for my easy day. Unfortunately in the aftermath my stomach has decided to do summersaults and I think I need to eat something pronto so I'm going to order a Pizza, seeing as pizza solves most problems.

I’m sick

I tried training through it but that didn’t work so now I’m stuck on the couch longing to go for a run. This sucks.

Non-runners will watch the races in Rio, they’ll see the result, they’ll extrapolate what it is we do. But in reality, they’ll never grasp what it takes to get there. The days of freezing rain on the track, months spent on tedious drills just to allow to body to move without pain.

This is our life. 4 years of work with less than 4 minutes in mind.

But we wouldn’t have it any other way. Athletes everywhere, you get it.
