if this isn't a great example I don't know what is
You can support Hamed Ashour by donating to his gofundme here, which is currently critically low on funds. You can also follow his story via Instagram.

screenshot of an instagram post by @/rajaeen1 that reads "In the Genocide I lived in a tent unfit even for a dog so, the world rushed to rescue the dog, not me!
I shared my story a year ago with this very loyal dog friend.
Oh, how lucky this dog is. The story went viral in Arabic and international magazines, and was read by more than 5 million people around the world. The story was translated into seven different languages.
At the time, an organization working in the field of animal rights from the Ireland capital, Dublin, contacted me. They wanted to ensure the dog's health and living conditions in the tent we were living in together. I sent the photos, and afterward, I received a great amount of sympathy and a huge emotional response. They seriously began exploring options to evacuate the dog from the Gaza Strip through licensed institutions.
They wanted a better life, a cleaner place, and a wider sky for the dog
Oh my God! no one even pointed out to me!
I was the one living in a tent unfit for even a dog to live in.

Your support will help me survive (food, water, medicine, safe shelter, power, internet) and continue my work: writing, documenting daily life under war, and producing a book of war diaries to be translated so our story cannot be silenced." Family in double crisis
In addition to 15-year-old Nour’s ongoing health issues, Nour’s sister Noha recently developed a severe stomach ulcer due to an infection induced by drinking unsanitary water. This ulcer is causing Noha extreme pain and digestive issues, and if it is not treated very soon, will lead to internal bleeding. This ulcer has gone untreated in order to allot more funds for Nour’s ongoing nebulizer treatments, but it has progressed to the point of literally debilitating pain and serious complications. Let’s raise the cost of treatment ASAP so Nour can continue nebulizer treatments and Noha can live her life again!!

Oh my gosh, the kitten. 🥺🥺🥺❤️❤️ Yasmin is holding it so gently. ☺️🥰 Everyone, this family is legitimate and in legitimate need of help. I have verified them personally and speak to Rodina, the mother, multiple times a week. I've been helping them for the last 2-3 months but their needs are more than I can cover on my own. Mohammed needs hearing aids in order to begin working again, until then the family has no income, and hearing aids are very expensive and difficult to find in Gaza. Please consider donating whatever amount is comfortable for you. ❤️
If my father dies, please remember that I begged you for a small donation or to share my post. I will not forgive anyone who sees this post and doesn't support me with a single word or a small donation, and ignores me.
I write these words with tears in my eyes, overwhelmed with fear for my father. He has been suffering excruciating pain and repeated fainting spells for the past week due to his cancer, and he cannot afford all the medications he needs because of their high cost. All I wish is that nothing bad happens to my father again, so I implore you to support me and help me buy his medications, cover his hospital stay, and get him the necessary surgeries as soon as possible. Please, be our support.
Worse still, my father suffers from blocked arteries and heart attacks, and he urgently needs surgery to remove the cancer and have stents implanted in his coronary arteries. Throughout this time, my father has been in constant pain. His surgery is extremely expensive, and I don't have enough money for it. Now he can't sleep because of the excruciating pain, and we can't afford his medications and painkillers to alleviate his suffering because of their high prices. I don't know what to do!
We need your help to relieve my father's pain and cancerous tumor and save him as quickly as possible. Please, I don't want to lose him before my eyes. Help me raise the money for his medication and surgery as soon as possible. Please stand by me. Look what's happening to us.
Please help my dear friend Nader and his father. He desperately needs money to buy his father's medicine and painkillers. No one should have to endure such excruciating pain for so long. Please grant him relief from his suffering. Help him survive this genocide.
Please donate to help Nader and his family. I saw the news today; the bombing is still ongoing, and there are many casualties. Please save my friend and his family from this horrific annihilation. Donate if you can, and share if you can't.
I don't know why, but I'm being targeted by Tumblr employees. I don't know why; whenever I post a blog, it either gets deleted or I'm blocked from sending messages. Please, friends, help me. I might not be able to stay here much longer. Please help me in any way you can and donate now.
Your kindness can give Salma hope.

If my page suddenly stops posting one day, know that my baby Qais has died. I will never forget the people who saw my child bleeding, suffering, and begging for help, yet chose silence and continued scrolling.
I feel completely broken and deeply ashamed begging strangers for help every day, because this suffering has turned me into a mother forced to sacrifice even her dignity just to keep her child alive.
I want nothing from this world except seeing my baby Qais walk and laugh again. Please donate so I can buy medicine and bandages instead of expired drugs and torn clothes cleaning his wound.
Please donate now Gofundme
Every day, I fear opening my messages and finding nothing, because silence now feels more terrifying than hunger or bleeding. It feels like watching baby Qais disappear. Donate and save him.
Two years ago, the occupation destroyed our home, turning our dreams, memories, and everything we owned into piles of rubble and ash, as seen in this picture.
Since that day, my family and I have been living in a tattered tent that offers no protection from the bitter cold of winter or the scorching heat of summer. Two years of continuous suffering under this worn-out fabric that neither shelters our bodies nor provides any shelter for our family. Today, I appeal to you with all my pain and suffering, asking for your support and assistance so that we can repair our tent and obtain food and water. I hope you will stand with us and not ignore us, friends.
Please help us through this ordeal and live a dignified life.Your support will make a huge difference in our lives and help us persevere and secure the most basic necessities and warmth for my family. Please don't leave us alone.
The zionist occupation has seriously injured 173,514 people in Gaza, destroyed the overwhelming majority of hospitals, and maintained constant blockades on aid leading to essential medicines running out. Over 20 thousand people like my friend Fadel are waiting on emergency medical evacuation and are trapped by Israeli travel restrictions and coordination costs which can be tens of thousands of dollars per person.
The occupation bombed my friend's house while he was still inside, and though he survived, he has been waiting for medical evacuation for years. In this time, he has been without adequate shelter, food, clean water, or consistent access to medications to manage his disability. His conditions have gotten more severe the longer he is forced to endure these genocidal conditions. Fadel has developed severe anemia requiring frequent hospitalization, and his medications now cost $800 a month, not including pain relief.
Today, @fadell-aldany told me that he now has to take a new type of medication that's substitute for a previous one, because it's no longer available due to these shortages. New medications come with side effects, like overheating, which is especially difficult because it is extremely hot in Gaza and he lives in a crowded camp in a tent with no way to cool down. Please help him raise the funds he needs for healthcare, nutritious food, and clean water.
Demand nothing less than the end to the settler-colonial project and a free Palestine from the river to the sea!
My friends, I do not want to go back to the multiple fainting spells I have experienced. Pleas.e stand by me and h@lp me to b.u.y my medicin.e urgentl.y. Please do not leave me in this predicament.
Traumatized in Ireland While my Family is Facing Death and Starvation in Gaza
Has it become normal Now that the defenseless civilians in Gaza face death and starvation on a daily basis?
Hell No!
F*ck No!!!
Note: Vetted by:

2. @riding-with-the-wild-hunt Here .
I contemplate the happy faces of people around me here in Ireland and reminisce about the happy normal life my family and I had before the war. A life that turned into a distant memory for us and was replaced by an unending series of horrible nightmares.
Unlike my family in Gaza, people here have access to drinking water, all types of food, electricity, and a roof over their heads. Above all, they are safe, and I cannot help but wonder if they genuinely do appreciate these blessings in their lives enough.
People seem relaxed and laughing wholeheartedly around me in Ireland. I wish I could laugh too, but I am crushed way beyond recovery on the inside. I was evacuated by my Irish college after five months of living the horrors of war in Gaza. I hope you will never know what it feels like to live in constant fear and worry and be horrified by the most sickening and scary nightmares every single night while you are far away from your family in such circumstances.
When did my people in Gaza cease to be human beings worthy and deserving of a normal life? Has it become normal now for my family in Gaza to be starved and killed while the whole world is watching the genocide? If that is the case, then you will have to excuse me if I seek every avenue to bring them to Ireland and start a new normal life like all people here around me.
I was assured by the Irish Reugee Council (IRC) and lawyers in Ireland that there is hope I can reunite with my family in Ireland. In difficult times, it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. For me and my family, you are literally our light and hope for a better life.

Update!!! We Are So Close to Safety
Please do NOT give up on my family in Gaza!
After months of uncertainty, we finally have a glimmer of hope. My wife is expected to evacuate to Ireland in early August with the support of my Irish college. At the same time, other members of my family are hoping to evacuate temporarily to Egypt while they wait for their reunification visas to join us in Ireland.
But we cannot get there without your help.
Every step toward safety comes with overwhelming costs (evacuation, border crossings, temporary accommodation, travel, visa expenses, and the challenge of rebuilding our lives after everything we have lost). These expenses are simply beyond our family's means.
If you have already donated, thank you for giving us hope. If you are able to help again, or if you can share our campaign with others, it could make the difference between my family remaining in danger or finally reaching safety.
Your kindness is helping us survive today and giving us the chance to rebuild our lives together. Thank you for standing with us.

Everything I own in the world is in this picture.
I am a long-time tumblr user and a chronically homeless Albanian refugee.
The government of Albania is a bourgeois dictatorship of zionist wallkissers supported by the United States and Europe, with open connections to the Epstein clique. This government has run me and hundreds of thousands of other Albanians out of our home to work shit service jobs and be agricultural slaves in Europe and elsewhere so that they can sell our socialist industry for scrap and our natural resources to Canada and the Zionist entity.
Even that much hasn't worked out for me personally, because I have autism, and also tumblr. I am not even doing particularly well as Albanian refugees go.
Obviously, I have never gotten serious help from the government of Albania or any other country despite repeated and persistent attempts, some of which I have liveblogged in detail over the past few years on this very account.
The only pair of pants I currently own is the one I am wearing, which does not fit. My other pair got a hole so I jetissoned them to get under the weight limit on my baggage allowance for the flight homeward.
I have done this every 6-18 months for the past decade.
I am now going home because my people are overthrowing our government (source) and win or lose I'm staying in the homeland because I simply cannot live like this anymore.
I will be joined in this by my sister whose circumstances are quite similar except that she is a trans woman in addition to everything else, and she is also stupid, and has cooties.
Both our lives have been on emergency footing for many years now and I am requesting tumblr's help in fixing this.

I am Maryam, a children's teacher from the Gaza Strip. I am 35 years old. I am married and have two children, Muhammad and Mahmoud. I am now five months pregnant. I was living happily with my husband and children in our beautiful home 🌹 until October 7th came and the war on Gaza began 💔
Because of the war, I lost everything: my home, my work, and my husband's work. We became homeless and because of death that always haunts us. I was displaced with my husband and children with all the feelings of fear and pain 😟 fleeing the bombing and under the showers of bullets, walking on foot in search of a safe place to take shelter in 😭. We did not find any place to take shelter in and we spent a few days under the showers of rain without shelter. We now live in a tent that does not protect us from the heat of summer or the cold of winter.
Life has turned into a mixture of suffering, pain, and searching for a living. My children suffer from diseases constantly due to the polluted water and widespread diseases. My children were infected with hepatitis. I faced many difficulties. My house was demolished 🥺 and my husband lost his job, which was Our livelihood, my family home and my childhood were destroyed and we were left with nothing. Memories were erased and because of the repeated deaths we were displaced for the third time amidst the bombing and destruction. My beautiful city has become a place of ghosts, unfit for life.
We are now homeless and without a livelihood😭💔
Please help me so that I can leave the Gaza Strip with my children and husband and we can live in peace. Help me to rebuild my life, to restore my children's childhood, help me so that I can provide a decent life for my children and husband🙏🍉❤

If you had to navigate the internet in a language you didn't understand and couldn't even read, how would you go about it?
My friend Wesal (@deemagaza) doesn't speak English. The only way she can find her way around the English internet is by using Google Translate or ask others like me for help. It is very difficult for her.
Yet she has no choice but to do so for her daughter Farah, almost sixteen now, who is autistic and has a kidney problem that - without treatment - makes her deficient in potassium, which, if it becomes too severe, can lead to cardiac arrest.
^ Farah spends most of her days like this now, feeling uncomfortable in her body, but not understanding why.
Farah's medication has become unavailable in Gaza, which has endangered her life and means she has to be treated in the hospital, which is costly and where they are running out of resources as well. Farah's case has now been referred to the WHO to be transferred abroad. If the opportunity for evacuation arises, we must make sure the funds are available!
Please help by donating to Farah's fundraiser and by sharing this post! Farah's fundraiser has been verified by gazavetters, #451!
If anyone has wants to donate but has questions about how the funds are transferred to Farah's family, feel free to get in touch!
If you donate to Farah's campaign, you can get a free commission by @fablebagel! Thank you, Fable! ❤️
Note: if you would prefer to pay via paypal, you can do so here.

My little nephew is dying; I feel like he's taking his last breaths. I will never forgive anyone who ignores this.
Please, we urgently need €700 for emergency surgery for my nephew. His health has deteriorated significantly; he is now in a coma and unconscious, suffering greatly. Time is running out, and every moment is crucial for him.
My nephew is his parents' only child. He lost his father in this genocide in the Gaza Strip and suffered multiple traumas during this war. He has already had one operation and now needs another. Please don't leave him alone. Donate towards his operation. I don't want to lose him like I lost my mother and brother. Please donate, donate!
I swear to you, watching a child in pain right before our eyes while we are helpless to assist him is a feeling beyond words. Please, do not let my nephew suffer any longer; help us secure his surgery before it is too late. Please donate. 🥺💔
