For my weigh in, I didn't lose or gain anything. I was so busy this weekend I didn't get a chance to post something! Let's get on this grind!
It only takes 21 days for it to be a habit.
It is said that if you do something for 21 days, it will become a habit. So no more dragging my feet to exercise or make funny faces at the peas on my plate. I will find vegetables more tolerant and I will find exercising a breeze. It only takes 21 days for a lifestyle change. Let's do this.
I would love to have a body like Angelina Jolie's. She is my inspiration!
I'm not looking forward to this weigh in tomorrow. I have only been doing light exercises this week because I have been feeling exhausted lately. I know, I know. Excuses. Blah blah blah blah. All I have to say is: I won't give up. No matter what.
“Know the true value of time; snatch, seize and enjoy every moment of it. No idleness…never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.”
"There is one quality which one must possess to win, and that is definiteness of purpose, the knowledge of what one wants, and a burning desire to possess it."
Fact #8: Quick Fixes
I admit I have tried quite a few fad diets such as diet pills, fasting, etc. but nothing changes or there's only a little bit of change. When those things don't work, I would indulge myself with more food. I would eat and I wouldn't care. Jack in the box, Taco Bell, Wendy's......endless food choices and I don't even have to cook! These quick fixes don't work for me and when I realized it, I'm a whomping whale. I hated myself and every single night as I lay in bed, I would jiggle my fat and tell myself that I will get rid of it. I'm done with these quick fixes. This is a life decision and it won't be quick because I will continue on with this healthy lifestyle til I'm 90. I'd probably still be kickin' too!
