He knew that doing this in broad daylight probably wasn’t the best idea, but Sam was bored and he needed to get a grip on how his powers worked anyway so he struggled a little but eventually, his fork lifted into mid air, nothing too noticeable but it wiggled and was just barely floating above the table and below his hand. He was sitting outside of the Mystic Grill, deciding that it was nice enough anyways. He had newspapers lain around him and the second he heard footsteps, the fork clattered back to the table, he didn’t think about how loud it probably was. He hoped they hadn’t seen anything, maybe they’ll think that he had just accidentally dropped it. He didn’t feel like being accused of witchcraft or anything of the sort. He grabbed for his dad’s journal and flipped it open instead, pretending to read a page that he’s read a thousand times already.
multiple pen clicks ― a low aired sigh escaping parted lips , onto the next customer whom could help pay towards an over average knife collection. and of course , a couple hours of grueling classes to help keep her mother a little sane over her future. a perfectly manicured brow raised slightly at the sight before her, but perhaps it was the lack of sleep starting to catch up with the petite woman. did someone cause an object to float a little ? possible , if not a little bit on the insane side if she were to be honest. after all , she had grown up at the roadhouse owned by her mom which tended to be a hot spot for hunters. still this quiet town seemed to be a far stretch from what she encountered growing up ; normal , no , but not heavy on the witchcraft from what she had found out. “ talent of yours ? ” approaching the customer with a coy smile hidden under innocent features. “ digging your nose into a book. ” adding on to avoid suspicion being pushed towards her way. she tapped the pen in her hand against the notepad before drifting doe like eyes from the journal and onto the piece of paper with the menu items. “ what can I get you ? french toast, a burger, or maybe a beer. ”
