It deeply hurts me to see Jensen treated not as a person, but rather an object to be used for entertainment, attention, attention through slander and harrassment, a punching bag, and just generally an object to be used in any way possible. He's treated as less than human because apparently people who are successful in life (which he worked his ass off for, unlike some people) aren't allowed to have feelings? They're not supposed to expect to be treated with the basic, bare minimum dignity owed to them as human beings? He can't be upset or be treated like a human instead of a piece of meat because he just happened to be attractive? What, when you reach a certain level of attractiveness, you have to rip out your heart and offer it to Aphrodite as a sacrifice, and after that you're no longer allowed to have feelings?? And your dignity is thrown out the window along with it?

He can't exist without people talking about him in the most disgusting, dehumanizing ways possible. He can't display any emotions without people pretending like it's an act. He says something that doesn't suit people, again, it's his "shpeel". Along with his heart, I guess he's meant to have given up his brain too, because apparently he isn't allowed to have any thoughts either, they're all pretend. And dignity? That's trampled to such new levels that I find it hard to comprehend. Any creep off the street feels entitled to talk about him, spread absolutely disgusting rumours about him for no reason other than two minutes of fame and some sort of messed up obsession, and that's supposed to be okay? That's supposed to be how normal people act and how normal people treat others? Because it is so, so not. And instead of condemning this behaviour, people derive some sort of messed up joy from seeing him demeaned, harrassed and slandered?

It doesn't matter if someone is famous, a celebrity. It doesn't matter that he is a celebrity. He still has a heart, a mind, his own thoughts and feelings. He is still entitled to dignity and respect, just as any other person is. He is still a human being, and I'm really going to need some people to understand that.
