"Are you still sulking, old man?"

"...I find myself in an unreasonably foul mood. Take caution if you've a reason to approach me today."
If you tagged us we didn't see it.
Our tag broke.

"I would offer you my apologies from the mun for her mood swings... she is grieving. Grieving over several people who made her the person she is today. Grieving over several people that helped her survive this far. And she does not feel that she can be strong enough to keep it from affecting people here."
...
I've heard that you die twice.
Once when your heart stops beating, another when people say your name for the last time.
My dad always said that a more permanent death for any human being was being forgotten, not just dying itself. The way we become immortal... is to be remembered.
To have our name not be forgotten.
Because we pass stories, names, memories down to our children, and they pass on the story to theirs, and then onwards.
They write the name down in notebooks, on slips of paper stuck into a book on some forlorn shelf until someone picks it up again, continues the story. Names go from reality into story, story into myth, myth into legend, and you are remembered, in some small way.
The one hope a parent has is that they're important enough to their children to be spoken about even after they're gone.
We are mortal and weak on our own.
But we are immortal and powerful together. Because, if one person forgets... even if someone forgets or moves on someone else will remember.
I will always remember my grandfather. And Sandra. And my great-grandmother, and Mr. Streeter.
I hope there's someone out there who will remember me.
We've revamped the blog a bit.
We're still working on the theme, but for now I've changed a few things; I deleted over three hundred posts from my blog that I no longer wanted here, and I am still working on deleting more. I have eight drafts in my draft box-those tagged will need to contact me if they wish to continue that thread. I am, however, revamping the muse some.
We are starting off from a new point and new perspective-this Cid is based post-FFXII timeline, in Archades. I will be doing most interactions there. It is assumed that is where the muse is at this moment, as he's working on a plan to help his son. Our 'canon', main timeline is going to line up best it can with thewarprivateer's [if you don't mind, of course] and those they interact with. I am limiting myself to:
Final Fantasy-related blogs
OCs and canon are BOTH welcome, as well as AU
I will NOT roleplay with anyone out of fandom. Later we may revamp our ideas for the FFVII AU, but for right now we're sticking with what we know best.
I may do a complete overhaul and delete all my old posts. It's a shame, but I feel we need to restart, rethink, and rework our ideas a bit more cleanly.
If you convince me I will try to interact with your muse, but right now, we're being selective.
I have also unfollowed and then refollowed each of my followers, as to clear out dead and/or unrelated blogs.
Do not be alarmed when you see we followed you again.
I'm hoping this kicks my ass in gear and helps me be better about replying to plots in-progress and threads I did not even halfway complete with some rather lovely people. I will be working on the theme, editing posts, and replying to drafts as people instruct me to of whether or not they wish to continue RPing that thread.
I will also be making a relationship page and a 'canon verse' page for the main verse for this muse.
Most thought out tactic in film history.
Han Solo gets shit done.
Absolutely genius.
Flawless.

Dear People Who Play Canon Characters,
• Just because I am already interacting with another version of your character, doesn’t mean I can’t interact with you as well.
• It’s fun to see how different people play different characters.
• Let me see how you play yours.
• The more the merrier
• Do not be afraid
I even want to play with other versions of myself

Enjoy!
"The noise the mun just made was inhuman. Hello, Larsa-mun, and hello to you, bitty lord Larsa. How are you?"
//I may or may not be sitting here stalking the Boother & Cid thread. And my muse may or may not be watching with narrowed eyes like ‘you make one wrong move, Cidolfus, and your bitch ass hide is my new office rug.’
We may or may not have expected that reaction and prepared for it.
"Your fledgling idea’s tend to affect the world upon a whole," He drawled, brows drawn taught upon his features as he took in his elder. Sane or insane he knew his father’s propensity for trouble ran well and deep, and never would Balthier meet more clever nor devious man (Except perhaps, should he care to admit the truth of that he saw within the mirror). "Not always for the better."
An understatement, that.
"I would hear your piece before I follow blindly. You wouldn’t care for me to bolt once more, would you, Cidolfus?"
He was understating the sheer fact of the matter; the fact his father had a deep love of mischief and was skilled at causing mayhem was little to be proud of, even less so the fact the old man had more than likely passed it on to his son as well. Still, for once he was reining himself in-not purely for his son but also considering for himself. If he did decide on an idea similar to the one that had jumped to mind...
He would end up trapped in his son's place.
The consolation for that fact would be that he would enjoy it, whereas Balthier most certainly did not. "Perhaps I'd aid you to bolt this place once more, what then, son of mine?"
A simple question, letting slip more than he intended; the fact he actually wanted to help him escape this time.
He could see it there - the budding idea behind the old man’s eyes that set Balthier’s skin to crawling and his internal measure to wary within an instant. He knew that look well, had seen it oft enough as a child, and what followed could go one of many, many ways - some of which, Ffamran might care for, some of which he most certainly would not. "Speak on it, old man - coyness becomes you not."
"I think you'd find it suits me quite well."
His was an absent reply; already he was lost in consideration of what he'd need, and in questioning himself as to why he'd think of such a thing; it wasn't as if Balthier would thank him, after all. Not at first-he'd see it as going from one cage to another, not knowing the purpose behind it. This would require weeks of careful action behind the scenes, and something else as well... regaining his old post at Draklor would be the first step. "I do have a few fledgling ideas, but it won't be easy."
